I think this was his plan all along…He started falling for Maaya when she played the perfect mother to CA…Maa’s unavailability created a huge void in his life, emotionally and physically.

He starting noticing how he can never be happy with Anupama when she was running off to the Shah’s at every minor inconvenience they faced.

He started dreaming of a complete family with Maaya and whatever conspired after that was part of the plan…Who knows even Maaya could be a part of it…kuch toh baat thi uss raat ki pappi and jhappi mein that made him take a decision of his future without Anupamaa.

So he planned it quite meticulously, made her birthday the best and pushed maa to give Maaya a day’s extension so he could finalise all future arrangements and also to highlight his vulnerability when it came to CA…

And now finally maa will make the ultimate sacrifice and hand her beloved husband to Maaya cause he cannot imagine a life without little CA .

Asli twist toh yeh hoga in the end ke Anuj did all this for his real love Vanraj, who was pining for Anupamaa and wanted her back in his life…
