He doesn't even let her touch him pre marriage, then also she is family member right. But he used to keep distance. Now he is letting her do whatever she wants with him despite knowing her dislike towards his wife.

And I agree that he saw haya as mariyam only. But he needs to draw boundaries.

Someone pointed out yesterday that murtu softness towards haya can be because he knows that how much it hurts when you love someone and that person doesn't recognizes your love and is instead rude to you he experienced it through meerab

The episode made my head spin because it felt like I do not know any of these characters. Only meerab and haya were the constant ones. Baaki sabka personality change ho gaya.

Murtasim is suddenly a bade dil wala forgiving person. At the time of the promo, I was saying kidnapping is not some minor crime that should be forgiven so easily. But then the episode reminded me that malik junior is actually in jail for attempted murder. And how do you forgive someone who tried to kill you twice?? He literally fired the gun 2 times. What does the father mean ki uski niyat tumhe maarne ki nahi thi 🙄🙄🙄 so the first disconnect happened for me as soon as he said maaf kiya.

And then the kheer scene and haya scene just made me think that I do not know this Murtasim that they are showing. First time, Wahaj ki soft eyes also had zero impact on me.

Maa begum I continue to like because she is practical. She changes her tunes as per demand of the situation. She is also manipulative but does not actively plans traps against Meerab. The way her character is written, her saying ki your daughter is home, so you should also come back home would have been enough. Instead, the meethi meethi baatein she said to Anwar was so over the top and out of character.

I am in minority. But i liked the Murtasim and Anwar scene. The man has practically raised Murtasim like a son. It makes sense that he would not hesitate to say his feelings to his uncle, especially when he knows that his uncle will be happy to know of his feelings.

It was Murtasim and Meerab that did not work for me in the episode. Which frankly is a bit worrying. Because the show is all about them. Hope the date scene today doesn't disappoint.

Agree on all of this but most of murtism anwar scene... In an episode which had so much romance I found this scene the best yesterday.. I love her came as a surprise but guess ptv don't do build up for ily

Murtu ka dimag jo hil gya hai...meeru Prem mei pagal ho gya hai...avyi sabse soft hua ja raha hai...jab tum usko pehle paas nahi aane dete the toh ye kya baat hui ki hath pakadna is normal as they are cousin...pehle pta tha she loves you toh ab kya memory loss ho gayi hai murtu ki..

I think there are two outfits where the bandage is there. And in the half white dress she has the bandage and there are two scenes, one is with Anwar and another one is with Murtasim. I don't think Rohail hurted her, something must have happened due to which she got injured.

this kind of setting works in Hindi dramas and we are an expert in this field but not pak dramas. Why because honestly the whole point of scenes like this is to showcase shameless romance, female lead will be dressed very sensually, over the top music, there will definitely be kissing, some rain, lots of hugs hugs hugs and well lots more. I think we have reached a stage in the plot where the writers don’t know how to showcase romance for this couple. And to be honest neither do we. So here is a question what kind of romantic scenes should have been appropriate for meerab and murtasim that aligns with these character personalities.

Ideas?

My idea for romance for them is when conservative liberal ideologies clash how do they find middle ground.

The feeding scene would have been more appropriate if meerab didn’t run away, too filmy

They could have spend more time in the village, walked around the fields, talked about murtasim work and life.

A dinner date could have been done in a public restaurant. But murtasim is uncomfortable given his conservative nature and it is meerab playful nature that make him comfortable.

They should attend a wedding, perhaps meerab friend wedding. First entry of murtasim in meerab world. The wedding is more modern where there are couple dances, murtasim asks her for dance, meerab reminds him of the walima slap, he says nothing wrong with husband wife dancing. They share a sweet dance.

They can go shopping
Go to the beach

Go stargazing on the terrace
Make something in the kitchen together break the gender stereotypes
Go to the movies oh is that allowed

Can murtasim teach meerub to shoot and hold a gun

They need to get out of the house and see the world together, romance would be how they see the world through each other eyes.

Pak dramas restrict romance to the confines of a home.

Love all these scenarios. Sadly we won't be getting any of these.

This is why zindagi gulzar hai wins in romance. Coz zaroon and kashaf actually had dates and outings ❤️❤️
