For me,
the cassettes of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Mohabbatein were the most heard.
I heard these on a loop again and again and again!
They were my most prized possessions!
Walkman on, lost in my dream world...ah! Those were the days!

Lagaan, 1947 the earth, Paheli, Rangeela. Basically all ARR masterpieces 🤩
EDIT: sorry, Paheli not ARR’s but being an ardent classical music lover, it’s one of my all time favorite albums.and so is Parineeta- especially soona man ka aangan🤩 ( I think parineeta was the last of ‘cassette’s’ I ever got to buy)
Pathan, Shamshera, Brahmastr and Shezaada

You left out the latest masterpiece as claimed by Bhushan bhai sahab 🤣
Ah the good old days! I was in love with most of the cassette covers at that time ❤️

Wow, that's beautiful. Looks like you also have a love for classical music just like me 👍🏼
I remember Discs more
Dil. Especially its title song was most fav as a toddler.
Others would be - Damini, Deewana, Aashiqui, Raja Hindustani, HHRPK, DHKMN, KKHH, HDDCS, Sirf tum, Akele Hum Akele Tum, HAHK, Dilwale, Dillagi, Baazigar, Kabhi haan Kabhi naa, Lagaan, Gadar.
I think I was crazier for early 90s music due to my uncles and aunts listening to songs all day. My uncle was total movie buff and huge fan of Alka, Udit, Kumar Sanu, Kavita romantic songs and he would play Damini, Deewana, Aashiqui songs on his music system all day and also in his car. So I have heard a lot of that music in early childhood.
Mohra and Khalnayak would be other albums I have heard a lot. Only to be scolded for listening to Choli ke peeche kya hai and Tu cheez badi hai mast mast.
I was mostly selective and liked individual songs from various albums rather than entire cassette.
I think Aashiqui, Damini, Baazigar, KKHH, Raja Hindustani may have been the only albums whose most of songs I liked.
AR Rahman was an acquired taste and took lot of time to grow on me. I began liking him only after Monsoon wedding and revisited Rangeela, Bombay, Dil se later.
As a kid I was more of an Annu Malik, Nadeem Shravan, Jatin Lalit type fan.
I too had Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Mohabbatein on cassettes. I had the Hero no 1 album too. The good old cassette days.❤️
Cassettes used to be cheaper than the CDs so I remember clamoring for the cassettes as much as I could. I even kept my Walkman until it completely gave in. But the discs didn’t last too long either. 😭
