All of these words are giving such major nostalgic vibes! I remember having a mobile like device and I used to listen to FM on that, sometimes the struggle was real because the connection would be cut off in between. My grandfather still has that radio on which he listens to the news ❤️ The other day I was cleaning my stuff and I found my old iPod and I remember how much I was in love with that pink tiny device! It’s useless as of now but I just don’t have the heart to throw it away.

Nostalgia is such a bittersweet thing. You reminded me of my iPod which I got after so much begging and what not but before I could put it to full use it became passé. I too still have it, in its original packaging that too. 🥺 when we were children we used to use the stuff until they became completely unusable but now we quickly move on to the newer things, no attachment or sense of pride over owning something. Kids these days will never know what it is to acquire something priceless.

I know for today’s generation things have changed with time but I remember as a child how much even 10 rupees in our pockets meant for us 😆I was in school and used to wait for mondays because then my grandmother would give me those 10 bucks to go and buy whatever eatable item I wanted, I bought so many tiny tiny things like toffee and candies from those 10 bucks, those memories are precious ❤️ Mehngai itni nai thi and I remember 2 rupees ke coins se icecream aa jati thi chhoti wali.I appreciate technology but I am glad it wasn’t prevalent back then.

I miss the VHS tape days too. Used to rent Bollywood movies. I remember watching Dhadkan and Soldier.

Oh those good old cassette days I remember I used to buy almost each & every cassette cuz music those days was really..REALLY good!! And KNPH was that one album which I used to listen to ON REPEAT each day every day after coming from school. I had this tiny sa walkman.😆 If my memory serves me right, one cassette costs around 52 rupees 😆 depends on the popularity of the album. I had almost all the albums ..paap, raaz, saaya, dulhan hum le jaayenge, lucky ali's collection, refugee, you just name it. 😆

Yudh, Hero, QSQT

Fun fact: My parents would play Yudh or Hero songs to wake me up.

My parents played songs of Dil to stop me from crying as a toddler and put me to sleep. I am told I was especially fond of Mujhe neend na aaye song from that film and also Khambe jaisi khadi hai song which, I am told, used to make me laugh as a toddler. I still watch that crap film purely for songs and nostalgia.
