Director sounded a bit regressive in his thought process. For him Murtasim is some saint character and Meerab is always doing injustice to him. Meerab's each and every problem is self created and she will get to know the importance of Murtasim in the show.

Also, when Rabia asked him, what about Merab, shouldn't Murtasim discuss and explain his reasons to her like why he wanted her to sit in the car or why he said Izzat ke badle izzat??.......the director replied, why he will reply to Meerab about his work life , he is not obligated to give answers and basically Merab should listen to him no questions asked.

He is totally team Murtasim and kinda justified the slap too.
