Just finished my first ever Susan Elizabeth Phillips 'Match me if you can' and it started out so fun but ran out of steam in the middle. Too romcommy and not enough emotional depth, too many side characters and plots and very, very meh sex scenes.

Perhaps I began with the wrong book?

I don't know much about popular romance authors...It has been very recent since I started exploring this genre actually. Mostly I used to read all fiction - suspense / thriller, maybe an occasional romance book here and there. I guess it was the second lockdown when I started exploring - The Viscount Who Loved Me, Kingdom Of Dreams and then began reading more last year. 😆

Uske pehle I was Jefferey Archer-ing my way through life. 🤪
