I have loved HC but he always ends up playing these spoilt, entitled, self-victimising manchildren in every show, maybe, barring his first show and Saubhagyavati bhava.

Lord, this one takes the cake tho. An actor of this calible doesn't deserve a pathetic character like Abhimanyu.

I swear, Shahi saw Kabir Singh and thought of making a Barjatiya version of it for itv— casting a 24 y/o opposite a 38 y/o that too.

Let's romanticise gaslighting, stalking, and emotional manipulation of a woman to make her accept her "unrealised feelings." Let's sell this pathetic, bordernline criminal story to impressionable teenagers who would move heaven and earth to defend the hot ML's abusive behaviour.

It is Abhi's creepy characterisation that put me off Abhira from the very beginning. I only started catching some epis after Jay's entry. It is disgusting that Shahi won't make Navra the endgame just to show that women can never move on from abusive relationships and pass it off as "one true love."

The only realistic character in this show is Kairav; his misbehaviour with Akshara notwithstanding.

And I think till now am sticking with Abhira and unable to connect with abhinav because he's a poor driver

In real world she would have asked for her share from goenka if she doesn't want to live with them , and have paid a hefty amount to abhinav for helping her that's it .

Because In this world one can only compensate other only through money there's no other way .

So please stop comparing the show with real world

P.s Waise toh real world mai shyad akshara k ghar se jaane ki situation hi nhi aati

Money matters as a fact lol— as if Abhinav isn't a small entrepreneur and poor people can afford three cars/jeeps in India. In real world, no family would stay in touch with their daughter's abusive ex while not giving her her stake in the ancestral property. In real world, a single mother would be stigmatosed even in metropoles, let alone a small town like Kasauli. The fact thar the Goenkas let Manjari coerce a young widow like Arohi to take an unwanted pregnancy to full-term— thereby forcing her to live a sexless, joyless life as a Birla bahu— makes them an inept family to take care of their daughters. Akshara or any real woman in her situation would anyhow prefer to live her life with Abhinav than be in such a toxic situation. More than that, they have screwed around with Nav's characterisation. He was introduced as an educated, fierce man lol.

The leads did eventually reunite, but it was done really well. However, the premise of this show is that Abhira have soul love. The toxicity, immaturity, and absurdity of it all don't matter much if they would literally die without each other. Obviously, not realistic, but that is why people watch it.

Also, I disagree that any real woman would have chosen Nav over Abhi any day. Respect is great, and love is great, but what's really great is getting both. The thing is, respect can be workshopped, but love cannot.

I would have loved to see Ak heal, raise Abhir herself, and fall in love with someone. Have a proper love story again.

how can it be soul love if a man kicks you out after you miscarry and are at the lowest point in your life..that’s not any love. For me....abhiras love story is an utter load of rubbish. It was never built up properly and always looked like abhimanyu was more obsessed with akshara than in love with her. But that’s because of the crappy writing. Yrkkh writers are not good. But its an itv show so anything will go.. and yes I believe any modern woman will go for a Nav any day who doesn’t have that toxic extended birla family.. I’m not from India so toxic in laws are very hard for me to handle as where I live we don’t live with in laws after marriage..married couples have their own home..so this verbal abuse from inlaws is very hard for me to digest..but again realistically speaking .divorced women move on, remarry , fall in love, etc .so a real life akshara would have moved on with Nav a long time ago..but they are actually trying to show her moving on now and give Nav a chance…I’ve seen some very nice itv shows where couples had amazing love stories..did you see Naamkarann…the lead couple Neil and Avni had an amazing love story..that man stood up against his mom, and the whole world for his lady love.. But regarding yrkkh …this is just my opinion on this itv show…no disrespect to you..😀.. everyone has their own different opinions.. and we all need to accept that..and I do..

true. I really felt bad for abhir for treated as drivers kid. I really felt akshu should have thought about him and his future. We all know money is really important. What kind of education she was planning to give him by selling jams. I am not saying she should go back to abhi for money but atleast instead of selling jams as she donated half of the jams than selling it she would have used her singing created a youtube/Fb/instagram channel 😂 or she would have done play back singing to earn money. That will fetch her more money than her current earnings or she could have used her lawyer skills/dancing skills to take up classes or real time cases than just reading books.

I am saying that Abhira is a far more unrealistic story that Navra falling in love and getting married as a second-chance love story. Even Arohi and Ruhi deserve better than being entertaining toys to Majari and Abhimanyu.

From the background Akshara comes it's not very realistic to fall in love with AA

Well not for me atleast , can't say about others

P.s FSOG is a love story only because CG was the billionaire, AA ki tarah hota toh crime petrol ka episode kehlata

Yeah, well, she comes from a regressive Marwari family from Rajasthan, married and ousted from another toxic, abusive family as a single mother. Falling in love with a chill man like Abhinav or even just latching at the first chance to true freedom is not unrealistic imho.

From the society, she comes from , irl, she would probably be shunned for family ki izzat or married off to an older man rather than being a single mother forever despite being educated and financially viable.

Again, imho, someone who ows three cars in India or sets up a novelty jam business is not poor in India. At worst, they are not filthy rich. Akshara can very well claim her inheritence without having to leave Abhinav.

Mujhe Abhira se humesha hi Gumrah ke episode ke flashbacks aate hain toh lol

I loved Naamkaran. Neil is a ideal man any girl would fall in love with. His supporting Avni against his mother makes him seperate from other Itv male lead very rare to find on tv.

It is not a new thing to butcher the main leads for the sake of creating a conflict in ITV. In the end everything gets sorted.

Well I started for HC here ❤️❤️

Even though Abhira were never set up properly, they had their moments where the couple was precious.

So I will just wait for it to get better with a acceptable storyline.
