For me, I think the turning point came when Aarav went missing. Katha, as usual, thought she was all alone and tried to keep Viaan away from helping her. But he insisted and his help was more than just help - it gave her a chance to share her worries with someone else.

When she found out where Aarav was, she didn't just go back to her stoic, resolved, strong self. She allowed herself to be weak in front of Viaan. She went from hating him to giving him a chance, unconsciously. Somewhere she felt comfortable with him, comfortable enough to let herself go in front of him.

And when she came out of the Grewal house and saw Viaan standing there, waiting, her expressions may have remained the same, but her eyes spoke volumes. She turned to look back at Viaan once as he left. There was this newfound respect in her eyes, and more than that it felt like she was thinking - he'll be my saviour. I don't mean in the typical ITV sense either. I mean in the sense that 2 lost people save each other.

From that point forward it seemed like that's exactly what happened. Viaan went from being a "cancer" to being someone she cares about and unconsciously (and maybe consciously) wants to help and bring out from the darkness. I, as a rule, stay away from ITV romances (both Tanu and Shibz know that 😆) but this is one ship that I'm ready to sail. Bring me aboard!

Its been a very long time since I watched a hindi-show. Fell in love with kdramas and roaming around the world all this time 😉 This is the show that picked my interest after a long time.

@Bold1, @Bold2: Yup I guess I forgot this one...agree with you on this.

Since she was hating him passionately previously, once she realized he might not be as bad she is thinking him to be, now it turned into a positive feeling but the intensity took it to a different level. Since, she is finding both the personalities (the one who asked for ONS & the current one) completely different and it is making her curious to find/know more about him. As she is learning more about it, it is making her fall in love with him without ever her being aware.

I might just be stating the obvious here.... lol!

Its same what's happened with viaan.

Even though he had his reservations about her but she somehow got under his skin. He couldn't avoid thinking about her. That's why viaan, who hates gold diggers like shamita (the office girl, he fired previously) doesn't do same thing with katha. He made that proposal to her and wished she wont agree. He considered her to be the bridge meant for him to cross over from darkness to light. Why would he treat her differently if he didn't subconsciously had feelings for her?

Similarly katha who had left the job gets convinced by very same person to stay in that company. He definitely has effect on her. It may have started from disgust progressing towards hatred but it did leave a strong impact on her and now he has gotten under her skin. Now she can't avoid thinking about him. She wants to know more about him.

Same feeling here. But with Viaan, its more obvious that he is falling in love with her (or more like fallen). We get to see more of his monologues/dreams in which he is expressing his thoughts to us. However, with Katha, it feels complex because they just leave it us that we have to crack our heads wondering what she is feeling at that moment or what she is thinking at that moment.

Now a days, at any point of time, I concentrate more on Katha than Viaan because I want to know what she is thinking, so I try to micro-read each expression she gives 😃 In this kind of situations, just in case if actress misses to deliver right emotion in any scene, we will be scr**ed😆 So far, I feel both Adnan & Katha are good actors.

As someone who has watched this show from the beginning I must say ….like so many of us I suppose,..we have been waiting for this from Katha…because in many ways, this is the starting point. So beautifully you have said it all. Thank you so much for sharing this write up, it’s like this is the kind of pining we will get from Katha…thank you again
