Agreed. Both these serials belonging to the same PH doesnt help either. Also, why is that I've rarely come across a man not being supportive of their fellow men in situations like these but when it comes to women, a lot of them the man's side?

It's bec of 2 reasons.

One is that love is too overrated as an emotion.. when women "love" someone , it's forever kinds..they never switch their feelings no matter what . N it's kinda true in real life..once someone is emotionally attached , it's very hard to break the cycle ..women r more loyal than men..they r always one man's woman .

Second is that in itv shows, the equation is never balanced..women r hardly shown objective, they always think emotionally...they r in a certain way...there is a basic flaw with the characterisation....seriously I feel all of them r nutcase...

Sometimes I felt I have something against the women , while watching itv for years..but then when I see English shows and Korean shows, I love all the women there....There isn't a single one who I dislike..

itv dekho...case in point anupama ...that woman can't stop indulging in her ex in laws affairs bec she is a "ma" , she was a beti to her ex in laws blah blah. Bc they can't show a woman being indifferent to her children ..same with akshu..she won't ever be indifferent to abhimanyu .

also, most of the audience is women so they automatically sympathize with the opposite gender ..its not the character but it's the actor who's playing the character who gets a free pass everytime...the actor who's playing these roles and chemistry chemistry chemistry is the mai culprit .

Excellent point watching Indian tv shows makes you hate women, and you feel ashamed of your own gender. You can’t compare with Korean shows there women have careers, healthy relationships, love stories are a journey that is filled with healthy interactions. Did you watch hometown Chacha it is the perfect story for showing opposites attract without the toxic garbage.

they make women emotional fools to be manipulated in the hands of men. I think the fundamental problem is fanatic fandom will latch on to the lead couple and start shipping them without thinking logically whether these characters actually makes sense to be together. Abhimanyu was wrong for akshara the moment he decided to marry arohi for revenge, and even their romance was ringa ringa roses did they ever have any genuine conversation as a couple, but their fandom ships them fanatically like what do they see we don’t.

Hindi tv was never this bad even ekta would never write a couple like abhira, this is the most toxic couple I have seen on Indian tv that is leading trp charts. Yrkhh is only surviving on brand image, because you can’t honestly say this crap is any good. Like x wife dancing with x husband where is the logic and what is abninav expected to do what will abhir think, even if it is shot as a dream sequence it is disgusting one of them is married and the other is engaged yuckkkkk, there is nothing romantic about betrayal. Actually it would be very interesting to watch a love story of two psychologically damaged people, who are bad for each other, but they can’t help themselves. That kind of topic is deep but it is doesnt promote family values it is more psychological thriller.

What is going on with ghum is bonkers too. I will give sairat fandom a break most of us hate virat but there is no other male character in that show. If I have to hear one more comment on soul connection of why abhira love each other then I will throw up. I have a soul connection with my dump truck arriving before it comes, maybe I am in love with the dump truck.

Hometown cha cha cha is next on my list 😃I was in mood to watch a thriller so I'm watching k2.

No idea if youve have seen crash Landing on you, that's the perfect example of star crossed lovers ❤️not just that , all the shows I've seen so far , the leads r perfectly balanced ..at least they're not dumb...the supporting characters r all soooo good..for romance and Romcoms, you can't beat Korean shows..

Anyways..On itv we have fixed the roles of a woman to this extent ke we've stopped identifying with them...I cud never understand why would a girl be always so good to people who are bad to her...why would the leads "respect" the elders to this extent ? Itv has gone from bad to worse from ekta times to ghum and yrkkh times.

Well we may never witness it but aroo Nd abhi will last longer definitely....bec aroo is a no nonsense person and she is loved by his family..remember she said yes to the "no love " pact in their marriage ?😆 Ab itna adjusting kaun hoga ..she proved she can be good when akshu isn't around

Good for them, IG. Honestly, I really liked Akshara and Abhinav's performance in today's episode. Would love to see her turning this fake marriage into a real one.

And one thing j really like about Arohi from the previous episodes is that when Abhimanyu dumped her on her wedding day, she still had her self worth intact, not once did she beg him to marry her like typical itv "vamps" do. She knew that she deserve better than a man who'd leave her stranded at the alter.
