Why is he always making the wrong decisions?

Why does Abhimanyu always make the wrong decisions? Can someone please help a sister understand?

The most recent one on the list is to marry Arohi.

Harshad is such a good actor but I never feel bad for Abhimanyu because when I start to feel bad, I remember the decisions he has made.

Its unfortunate. No yrkkh lead has been so off beat. Abhimanyu has made so many wrong decision. I think naitik was the only ml that has shown growth in yrkkh. Thats why there was no separation b/w akshara naitik.

Kartik too made few wrong decisions due to which there were few separation tracks but they happened after solid manipulation, it was never his choice. And he was a lovely partner for seerat. He made no mistakes with her.

Abhimanyu unfortunately is very flawed. And he is not guilty for his wrong attitude and actions which is very off putting.

I think they are showing what childhood trauma does to you! You become so emotionally stunted that all you do is protect yourself against everything.

The thing/person you “love” the most will also be an object of your obsession. For Abhi, it is ONLY his mother.

This is what generational trauma does to you. Naitik I guess was from a protected family. Dunno about Kartik. Abhi however belonged a family as dysfunctional as it comes. So, he is an emotionally unstable person. Maybe that’s the point. Maybe the writers are crazy. Maybe it’s Maybelline!

Agree its his childhood trauma and excessive attachment to molly cuddle/please his mother! He is trying to make up for his father's failures hence why he is always dancing to his mothers every whim and cry!

I'm trying to understand him! But him crossing that thin line of decency and marrying someone that should be like a sister to him is just 🤢

I don't know them pills have blocked his brain!! I just can't!

I remember watching a couple of episodes of first gen and in those Naitik cribbed a lot (in general parlance we used to say that rota bahot hai)

Kartik lost his mother in a young age . She commited suicide due to schizophrenia. And later his dad married his secretary ( now swarna)

But kartik n his sis believed that there mum commited suicide becoz of his dad 's ema and cheating . And when there dad married swarna he started hating his dad . He used to call his dad Mr goenka . After kaira marriage secret came out n there relationship got normal.

Both kartik naira had misunderstood there parents n abandoned there homes for years . Eventually truth came out and things got normal .

Swarna wasn’t Kartik’s mom!?!?
