You can celebrate valentine with your loved one. Nothing wrong in that. But here Aarav is hardly 8 yrs old. For an 8 yr old getting flowers n chocolates(even if for his mom),celebrating valentines day is too much for me. It's Ajinkya who is 11-12 yrs old. It suits him ,not Aarav. I don't understand why makers have to insert unnecessary stuffs . Batman-Robin scenes are heart warming, but Aarav-Katha celebrating valentine's day I so wish he gives those flowers and chocolates to his sisters.

I got your comment

I just joined you in cribbing 😆

I started to watch as the original had limited episodes hoping that this is not like other ITV serials.

But after whole day work.. when I come back and go to the show for relief, them just dragging it sometimes annoys🌝

That's a very good idea... I think I should also follows it.

But then forumwasio se baat kya karungi epi nehi dekhungi toh.. Jabtak mein epi dekhungi sab discuss karke so bhi chuke honge 😁

Whatever she says translates to-

Only a person in love will seem disturbed and lost this much like viaan right now. It needs an expertise and profound knowledge to understand your own love sonetimes.

This was with reference to Viaan's confusing and changing feelings towards katha. He is falling in love slowly thats why he is too bothered about ehsan katha. He is turning protective towards katha but thinks it is just care or guilt but actually its love which he is not understanding for now.

Its not important what made Heer fall in love with Ranjha, important is, what she saw in him that she herself became Ranjha.

Its a reference to Heer ranjha love story. It means loving someone so much that they forget their own identity and merge into the lover's completely. Full devotion and complete surrender that one forgets his/her own existence.

Love happens to everyone, simply, naturally but then there are some kind of love (story) which is beyond comprehension of normal people's world. Its special, its deep. The kind of love which even person in love sometimes wont get how deeply he has fallen for. This kind of mad love can be understood only by two kinds of people. 1. Those who know that only one sided love is true love. 2. Those who made that love(story), who actually lived it.

She meant there are many lovestories. But those are special one which has depth what heer ranjha kind of love story had. Means the person is in love and even he has no idea to what extent he has fallen for and where he ends and she begins. This love equals to madness (ranjha was labelled as mad person by villagers). This mad love can only be understood by two kind of people. First, those who truly knows the meaning of one sided love, here one sided love doesn't mean what ehsan is doing. Here it means a love with no expectations in return, unconditional love. And second those who lived that story or alternatively she could also mean only God can understand this love because its the purest feeling in world and God has created it.

thanks for writing out the scene and also explaining the meaning. all of it went over my head when I watched the scene and I kept wondering why maharani was talking about one sided love.

for me, one sided love is a negative concept. so you can still love a person even if you didn't get a happy ever but don't become devdas and destroy yourself physically or mentally by getting into addiction or other destructive behaviour. there are also those who use one sided love as a defense to commit crimes -- stalking, harassment, acid throwing -- all of this arises from love. as horrific as it sounds, crime patrol ka inspector reminded me yesterday that many murders are committed in the name of love.

so rather than one sided love, what she was referring to was unconditional love where you might not get recriprocated but still care and do things for the other person. that is an important distinction and what separates viaan from ehsaan.

Actually I think even if we skip the episodes and continue here on the forum, eventually we don't even have to watch the episodes as the forumwasis will cover the important parts of the episodes thus saving our 140 minutes.

😅😅

Heer was a muslim girl and Ranjha a tribal boy. They meet and fall in love with each other. Heer's family later tried to separate them, eventually they were separated. Ranjha becomes a jogi. Later they reunite and on the day of marriage, Heer will be given poisoned food by her own family and she dies on his lap. Ranjha eats the remaining food and he dies with her. (You must have seen a drama scene in IPKKND, if you watched the show)

Its about unconditional love. They waited for their whole life to unite and ultimately they were united by death.

I didn't understand why they have used Heer Ranjha logic here. As per OG, K-V gets married, separate and eventually they reunite at the end, right?

Hope this helps. You will get more info on Wikipedia

I wasn't familiar with this story. thanks for writing it out so I don't have to google it. to be honest, am not a fam of such tragic romance stories. I really don't get the appeal. I don't even swoon. maybe I am hardhearted. I am just meh. 😂

Basically Heer Ranjha,Soni Mahiwaal are the desi versions of Romeo and Juliet. I used to think they all were fictional characters. Never knew that Heer and Ranjha were real personalities. Thanks for the info.🤗

romeo and juliet is not really a love story. 🤣

when I was in school, my english teacher asked us this qustion -- "is romeo and juliet a love story?"

we were sufficiently confused and said yes. she then asked us why -- we gave the outline of what we had studied and how they fell in love and died.

again she asked "did romeo love juliet?" . now we were wondering why she is asking us this question and we said yes. she again asked us why we think so and we went through what we had studied.

she then threw the googly -- "so if romeo loved juliet, who was rosalind?"

we were like "who???????????" then, she told us the exact page number (somewhere in act 1) and made us read out the passage. and suffice to say, we were all stupefied and confused.

romeo first proposes to rosalind but she turns him down. so he is depressed and the same night, he falls in love with juliet.

then my english teacher asked -- "was romeo in love with juliet or was romeo in love with the idea of being in love?"

this was us:

our teenage brains were just exploding. we did not have answer to that question.

then one boy asked -- this question won't appear in the exam right? 🤣 🤣smiley37

bwahahah... my teacher spared us but she did give us a lot to think about. a class I still remember today.

in this drama, ehsaan is a bit like romeo -- very much in the love with the idea of being in love. basically all the modern day fellas desperate for a girlfriend so they can show off to others how cool they are. not because they actually want a relationship or is interested in that specific woman.
