I can understand Mills and Boon level love story. 😆 this kind of poetic and philosophical stuffs are little heavy for me. After a hectic day i wanted to watch something light hearted stuff. But Maharani's dialogues were quite heavy for a Monday night.😆Now after reading somany comments i can say that it's foreshadowing Viaan's future. For some time it's gonna be one sided love of Viaan for Katha. Even if he realizes his love and proposes Katha, it's a long root to convince her.

I still have no idea how it's related to Heer and Ranjha's story. Their story was not an one sided love story.

I'm kind of worried about the show tbh. There is IMMENSE potential; the leads have incredible chemistry, and the direction team seems talented. The story had a very strong direction in the beginning, but now I feel that the writers are kind of struggling with how to proceed with Katha and Viaan. Hence the overdose of supporting characters (Ehsan and his random alcohol drama, for example).

Trust me, I love a slow burn romance, but these romances often have a very strong direction and vision as to how to proceed with the leads' love story. I get the sense that the writers themselves are a bit confused, and I feel a bit sorry for them (though I feel a bit annoyed as a viewer).

a slow burn romance works when we have tons of chemistry and lots of scenes where we see the two of them slowly catching feels and getting more and more confused. basically the chemistry needs to be so evident that we can see a fan MV and feel it even if we have never seen the drama. but here, we are missing their interactions. since she has given him permission to talk to her, hopefully we will see them interacting more freely in the future instead of him running for his life every time he sees her. 😆

I believe after Batman introduces his mom to Robin, and since Batman is convinced that Robin is his true friend, we may get more interactions between Katha-Viaan. Also Katha has decided to talk to Viaan in office. So we may get more interactions inside and outside office. Unless they interact, how come love story will start even. Katha needs to interact with Viaan to know him more and fall in love with the person he is.

But don't expect typical ITV cliches, falling, holding, dupatta (Katha never wears dupatta), eye locks blah blah. I don't even see holding or touching hands in near future

I started to watch as the original had limited episodes hoping that this is not like other ITV serials.

But after whole day work.. when I come back and go to the show for relief, them just dragging it sometimes annoys🌝
