yes akshara didnt jump to put her kids life in danger ,also i am not saying that akshara ne"jhan boojke" kids life ko danger me dala. but
the fact is she forgot at that moment that she was pregnant, she forgot that she was also responsible for her kids safety ,not just those ngo kids.
and as a girl who will become mother someday i find it irresponsible..
you can call me selfish , or just as some other post mentioned not a good citizen or guilt trip me to say that after incidents happen we will say "ye kar liya hota"
but as per me akshara was not able to save one of those twins and neil . and if we cant even save our own childrens life and life of our loved ones whats the use of saying that we have gone there to save others.
it was pure luck that they survived because "our guilt of not doing anything, can never be more than the pain of our loved ones loosing us "
just think if abhir was not blessed to be saved at that time will akshara ever come out of pain of lossing their twins ,i dont think so.
Its my personal opinion call it selfish but if you dont have a solid way or some support in these kinds of situation we must not put our lives in danger .if we are alone then we can do everything to save others but for pregnant ladies i would not suggest to throwaway yours and your childrens life. no matter whoever guilt trips you. to be so called good citizen. because throwing away ones life and our childrens recklessly is not what being a good samaritan is.
ALSO akshara asked neel what you would have done thats when he agreed and when they reached the venue .akshara didnt even flinch to get out of car that when neel stopped her and said he would go instead. and neither akshara was concerned about neel to stop him and nor she thought about babies. she has not killed neel. but she has not stopped neel from going to be killed and as a sister i find it sad.
Also i am not blaming akshara but terming it as accident ... both akshara and neel had called the police informed everyone they could ...but they could have waited...instead of throwing away their lives recklessly.
and by glorifying it we are just encouraging such reckless behaviour ...
yes it was spur of moment decision .but they could have alerted surrounding people, or gone live, or just followed the truck and informed the police . rescuing always doesnt mean recklessly throwing away ones life for another. was akshara not responsible for her twins and neels life.
thats why police officers and firefighters are trained and adviced not to take reckless decision because we are responsible for our own lives as well. and even more so for a pregnanant women.
and we must not glorify such recklessness in the name of doing good..
and regarding abhimanyu as i have said earlier i agree with you completely apart from fact that his q regarding twins and neel were correct.
