And on the other side of the fence, I have frequently seen Aishwarya being sl*t shamed by well-known accounts on Twitter & Instagram too.

Social media is garbage - got to know after joining. Fandoms + social media makes a terrible combination.

Trolling characters or the show is not a problem, nor criticising someone's acting. Calling out actors for incorrect things they say about sensitive issues is correct.

But these fans go personal on the actors - make such nasty, puke-inducing comments. Something is seriously wrong these days. It wasn't like this few years back. Social media has made everything toxic.
