Maan knew he would not get and taxi so his best option

I liked that Maan was worried and concerned for Geet

well at least there is a tint progress between Maan and Geet

just hoping that soon both become friends at least

Majestic update… beautifully written

Geet was indeed relieved seeing Maan there

sad that she did not expect her

but understand why

of cos Geet was visibly shaken

liked how Maan took care of Geet

wow he even made the water hot and made tea for her

Geet's reaction was justified

so Geet allowed Maan to sit on the bed

he was certainly amazed

well Geet thanked Maan

loved Maan's concern for Geet

Awesome updates, hopefully they will come close to each other

Unique and interesting concept. Story keeps me guessing and edge of the seat thinking what could happen next. Loved how Maan re-entered her life at right time to save her from creep, to speak to her family who must be wondering why he never talks to them and finally so glad that he saved her from the floods. Very scared to know if Maan is any trouble due to his job and if he and Geet will be safe or not. Anxious to read the next chapter. Waiting!

M- Waise tum xyz place mein kya kar rahi thi? Tumhara office toh woh side nahi hai

Maan says to change the topic

G- emm ....woh...woh ..kuch kaam tha

She doesn’t want to divulge that she wnet to the forensic lab after work

Maan’s eyes sharpen as he realizes the hesitation in Geet’s voice

Both have dinner

It’s still dark due to power outage so they had to light a candle

After the dinner both Maan & Geet go to their respective places and lay down after blowing off the candle

Geet is laying on her bed

The night is still fresh in her mind

The sky is clear now with moonlight sneaking through her window and illuminating the place

The sleep is eluding her

She turns a little, Maan who is laying on the floor, his profile is visible in the moonlight

He is laying turned on the other side, so Geet does not have to worry that he might catch her gazing at him

Maan assumes that Geet had slept

He gets up and starts doing push-ups, as he always does as a punishment for smoking

Geet frowns, thinking ‘isse kya ho gaya’

But does not say anything

She lays their still

M- 51-52-ooofff…hu….53….54

He is heaving with every push-up

Geet thinks ki ye raat ko push-up kyun kar raha hai. Uss din shaam ko bhi kar raha tha. Weirdo!

Haanf raha hai, thak raha hai, phir bhi nahi ruk raha

G- Tumhe chaadar chahiye

He hears Geet and almost scrambles down. He had assumed she was asleep

M- Huh? T..tum soyi nahi

G- Neend nahi aa rahi. Tumhe bhi nahi aa rahi?

M- Huh?

G- Isliye push-ups kar rahe ho yaa thand lag rahi hai

M- Nahi…nahi..aise hi

He quickly lays down on the floor

G- Ab tumhe need aa rahi hai?

M- Haan…haan…tum bhi so jao

G- Mujhe thand lag rahi hai. Chaadar nikalni hai. Tumhe chahiye?

M- Nahi

Geet gets up and walks towards the cupboard

Maan is laying hiding his face under his arm hiding his embarrassment

He was laying for quite a while then he wonders -kya hua itna time ko lag raha hai Geet ko chadar lane mein

He gets up and goes to see what she is doing

He sees she is jumping to reach the top shelve where the bedsheets are

He walks closer to look

M- Kya hua?

Geet has goosebumps as she hears Maan’s voice so close as if his lips are near the curve of her ears

G- Wo…who…andhere mein stool nahi mil raha

She could sense his sweat laden body

M- Main help kar deta hoon

He moves forward in the tiny space to get the bedsheet as Geet steps back

Their bodies brush for a moment

They feel a wave of electricity run through their body with the touch

Both stiffen up so the other does not know what is happening

Maan finds his voice and says

M- Kuansa nikaalun?

G-emmm…..dono nikaal do

She replies looking down

He gets the bedsheets and hands over to them

She is still looking down

G- Ek tumhare liye hai

M- Oh…okay

Geet bhaag ke jaake bed pe letke chadar odh leti hai, hiding her face

Next day as she goes to office her colleagues are chatting about the last nights flood

‘Geet tum toh late nikli thin aa, phir ghar thik thak pohunch gayi thi?’

G- Woh…raaste mein phass gai thi…

‘Kya???? Phir??’

‘Kal toh bohot khatarnak toofaan aaya tha’

G- Phir…Maan ko call kiya toh who lene aa gaye

Sab maze le rahe hain

As they are a close knit company the owner also comes and asks about how Geet reached home

Owner- Ye bhi acha idea hai. Uss din apne husband ko bhi le aana
