I guess they are following a script while declaring the results. Channel must have told them whom to keep and whom to eliminate. Suvarna is giving them buzz so she will be saved. Aruna is the choosen one I think 🤔

I don't know....this show is shot well in advance typically. I think they are running at least 3 weeks in advance. It just seems highly unlikely that they would have known that Suvarna would give them buzz when this was probably shot at the time the show was launched.
I feel - that just like anyone - the chefs do have favourites. Ranveer's favourite is Aruna, Vikas's favourite is Gurkirat, and I think Garima likes Priyanka or Santa most. And I think that often Ranveer has the biggest say (despite it being that all 3 chefs are equal) so Aruna gets favoured for that reason.
The channel does know how to milk certain people for TRP. They probably saw the arrogance in Suvarna long before we did and they decided to use that. Bad publicity is publicity after all. She'll be eliminated in due time.
I like Aruna but chefs should taste everyone's dish.
I feel more than Aruna, chefs favor gurkeerat and nayanjyoti

I don't really know how to recreate her dish exactly, but really cheap popsicles are sold in villages— either mango, orange or icy sweet milk. They are topped with sweet sewaiyan. Which means that sewaiyan goes into the mould first toped by whatever liquid.
Got the popsicle part on internet..but her dish had a tinge of pink or purple..don't know what was that
Everyone's dish should be tasted..like last time they didn't taste Shanta's dish but it seemed very interesting..so much emphasis on presentation is wrong and disheartening.
Even when they stopped two people from cooking midway in Goa..u wouldn't know how a finished product would turn out..what the cook has in mind..how can u decide in 30mins that it won't turn out good !
I feel chefs favor Aruna & Nayanjyoti
Nayanjyoti is exploring the savory side, so I'm glad he chose to work with his choice on savory. Also, when he mentioned bok choy veggie, I'm interested. Definitely, would like to see a leadership quality also once in a team. His bento box looked pretty cool. The onigiri balls were quite precise though I felt the stuffing was repetitive unless someone is an hard-core addict. Also, the box was quite simple & nice. But no sauce.
Avinash's detailing on the glaze was pretty cool. I feel he has potential but seems low in confidence. It seemed like his dish was not on par as per judges' criteria.
Aruna took a huge risk with mushroom as protein which is in fact low in protein. Unless she predominates it, then not sure of her dish. Box looked good but bit overdone tbh.
Swarna- dish was alright but she's just focused on her game. Lol, her comment on being ignored was huge bluff on her part.
Deepa- interesting take on stuffing onigiri with prawns. Teriyaki chicken looked nice & clean. I think her experience worked in favor. So won't deny that she got the best dish.
Shanta- The blue pea uramaki was interesting. It seems the taste was overdone. The instant pickle also backfired. Also, no dipping sauce.
Nazia- sushi rolls caught my eye (again, i'm choosy on colors here 😆) especially the color contrast. Box looked colorful but some fruits looked unevenly chopped like chef Garima said. Seasoning seemed off of the sushi roll. Lol, the chicken on bbq stick was scary considering it would cause septic issues.
I think this year they are following MCA to the T. That's why the tasting of six dishes every now and then. I think it was supposed to happen just once or twice but they are probably doing it frequently to improve the plating skills of the contestants which is pretty bad compared to other seasons. Maybe that's why they are forcing them to plate better and judge by the look of the plate.
Even yesterday's Bento Box challenge was taken from MCA last to last year. But I wish they had taken full inspiration from it and asked the contestants to not restrict themselves to just Japanese food but use Bento as a concept to cook any cuisine. I remember Depinder had done a Punjabi bento box in MCA. We could've had so many interesting Indian bento boxes/tiffins if they did the same here.
Regarding favoring, I feel Ranveer favors Aruna & Santa whereas Vikas favors Gurkirat & Nayanjyoti. Garima definitely favors Priyanka.
I think it would've been more interesting to see cross-cultural take on a bento box but I feel it would be played bit safe here since flavors are commonly thus probably a part might be found in more than 1 bento box. What would've been interesting is probably since there are different cultures that represent the contestant maybe something they are commonly aware of and probably infuse with japanese food more like a Indo-Japanese bento box but different parts of India which could be innovated or something with Japanese flavors or food.Originally posted by: MommaMomma
