They are increasing the price and number of shows gradually.

I booked FDFS at 10am then they added a 7am show and I booked that one without cancelling the first one as I didn't want to decrease collection since then they have been adding shows and now, we have a 6am show and ticket price is Rs. 400+

Event films have expensive tickets, price will go down after first weekend and there are single screens with low ticket price

Apparently due to bird flu and also inflation

That's cheap. It's $12.00 in my small town USA for a matinee show.

India has the most economical ticket pricing..no where can one imagine to watch movies in the amount one can in India..may be 500 is an increase..which means people even go to see movies in 200-300 rupees..which doesn't happen anywhere in the world..thats too cheap

One has to see the relation between income and prices...I suppose, for family outings, a price segment between 700 and 900 rupees is only possible for very well earner.
