I think they deliberately kept her name Maaya for two reasons:

1. Give the "maa"in her name😆
2. Make it MaAn again- Maaya+Anuj, to give takkar to Anupamaa+Anuj🤣

What do you think guys. I had thought of the first possibility before I came to know that she's indeed Maaya😆the second possibility came just now. What do you think?

I thought it was to give the syllable Maa in her name.

Or it could be her name is not even Maaya.

The way choti Anu said it, almost sounded like this person asked to be called Maa ya. Like its common slang to add ya at the end of words or she can call her Maa or anything else.

She could have written Maa ya in the name to avoid MaaN from finding her identity. Then big drama dun dun dun when they come face to face.

Or we all thinking more about this show than needed 🤣
