I understand you & agree with you mostly. Just one thing. In my original post, I had not mentioned Hindi anywhere. That came up later only while arguing with a fellow member.
What I originally said was "one common language" and that would have been very much possible had we, all the communities, be united & was interested in a united India. For some statistical reasons, the term "common language" has become synonymous to Hindi & Hindi being a language of most North Indians is a problem.
The reason why I am not typing in Devnagari script or in any other native language is because we are not taught any common native language in schools. So we rather depend on a foreign language even when it's just us, two Indians are chatting. Feels the whole fight for our freedom & getting rid of the British a little bit pointless to me, that's all 😅😅
