It’s an open secret mr. Modi is a fugitive. And pretending he’s not is only deceiving yourself for ur fav.

I find ur arguments abt aish using salman or Vivek to be pretty misogynistic since salman mostly made aish lose films and Vivek didn’t really help her achieve success.

The same arguments can be used against Ms. Sen too since she has dated extremely rich men throughout her life but I guess ppl like u only go after successful ppl

Vikram bhatt even made a movie abt how he was with a bad beauty queen who wrecked his personal life. Guess who that was based on?

No one had filled a police complaint against salman before aish for abuse. So she probably thought the abuse rumours for somy/sangeeta were fake. Unlike lalit who has a lot of FIR’s on him

Clubbing aish and Katrina together is shit. One stood up abuse and the other is silent cuz she wants to still get work

Aur app kya aish ki chachi , mami, aunty ya phir mausi lagte hain jo woh apki bolne pe shut up hojaye gi? It’s her choice, so she’s laughing. Only a bitter person would say to a joyous one that were laughing at u for laughing.

And no one laughed at aish, see the comment of that video. Ppl are prasing her for speaking well. Tho ppl did laugh at sush for seeing lalit.

I don’t care if u call sush queen or whatever but mocking aish’s dating history while prasing sush is just hypocrisy. Both lalit and savlon are criminals

If aish is an fugly gecko or whatever then ur sush is too.

This entire post of urs just reeks of bitterness from a successful women.

Is this Shad? Kyrstal Wartz? Honestly whoever you are, you see an old member, sign up and then come and post with them? whilst I am flattered, I am creeped out. It was my mistake engaging with an MID so I'll quit

But this is Oprah

Can't expect any logic or rational behavior here, neither from the host nor the guests and even the audience

Even Tom Cruise went nuts when he was there

American women divorce too much?

How about many Indian women have no option but to stay in bad and sometimes abusive marriages.

I'd forgive her a little though because these were the 90s. Massive globalization time. And a lot of Indians were doing exactly this when going abroad. Tremendous inferiority complex about themselves manifesting as a fake pride in even the negatives in India.

You don't see this today because exposure has made Indians a little more secure about themselves, ready to admit both positives and negatives.

And how would the Indian community who feels she was representing them and should paint them in a respectable light have felt if she stated exactly that? That is true to some extent. But I would be very careful in trying to put east or west in a superior light at all. In general, it is each society has pluses and minuses. No society is picture perfect ideal. Even you stated it is sometimes not all the time.

Like I say I do not defend Aish's interviews in the west overall. They do not deserve to be defended it is just this specific question. This question was a catch-22. I do not think Oprah was trying to make Aish goof up but it was.

You seem like the complete opposite of a witch. You seem like a beautiful person. But nice to meet you fellow American.

I have a better question for you. How did the abused Indian women who heard Aish say this feel? They should stay in their abusive circumstances to save Indian pride?

How is INDIAN PRIDE being prioritized before the safety and rights of INDIAN WOMEN any different from the Log Kya Kahenge attitude of women's families which keep them trapped in terrible situations?

How many beaten, raped, and killed women will it take for society to say enough is enough?

Gimme Mallika Sherawat any day. Speak the damn truth and don't be a mealy-mouthed hypocrite.

Who said anything about East or West being better? Sorry... that's just insecurity speaking about faults being pointed out. How about saying we both have our own problems to deal with and ways to go before achieving equality?
