And... may i ask all of you.... does this trashing of the lead couple and their characters fetch TRPs... ? I heard this show was not whacked like this in the previous generations. though they were separated and remarried repeatedly.
I think only having small kids can attract audience and that is probably the calculation by Starplus and Rajan Shahi.
This is going the Ghum way isnt it ? In Ghum Sai got a goon to help her i think, here it is a good samaritan Jai Soni.

Depends 🤣
At some point in the show the leads do the typical separation with leap to show kids grown up 5 - 6 years old.
Leads from the start act a certain way and as the need to produce drama and such for TRPs they get muted, become dumb, or act way out of character.
If execution and writing are on point even with grumbling and audience saying couple ruin but if the story is interesting it will hook viewers back.
The issue with Ristha right now it is very negative. The "gray" family members are not always exposed in front of the entire family. They don't get called out by everyone. Instead leads catch them give them warning and they go on their way. Sure karma has hit them but what irks audience is family members give them sympathy but we (the audience) cannot digest because families do not know how bad that person behaved. Also the so called "gray" characters have done some down right nasty things that make them evil. They don't repent nor acknowledge wrongs. It is always someone else's fault. So how are the audience members suppose to feel when we see the "gray" character go about their business while everyone in the family gives lectures to the leads who are suppose to be the "good" characters? They get called out all the time. They are punished for their wrongs but even their rights. They get little sympathy at times and are dragged through the mud.
So everyone fears the wrost right now. Abhi marrying someone even in compromise seems wrong to us. It seems to go aginst his core character. He will do the right thing by taking care of Neil's kid but that doesn't mean he has to marry Arohi. Arohi has done some terrible deeds and it is sad she lost Neil her husband. But no amount of good she does now erases the evil she has done to Akshu and Abhi and even her disregard for Kairav.
Her goodness is fake because when her sister is around she wants to one up her when there is no need. She is only laying in dormant until Akshu appears again. She will secretly smile and be happy Akshu is away from her life. She cares not if her sister is alive or dead. That is her nature.
So how am I suppose to support a character like that?
