And she deliberately didn't wish him on his birthday because of fear of politicians. That goes beyond keeping quiet. These small things show her character.

Aryan was in jail and not dead(God forbid) He was going to be out sooner or later......but the fact that she ignored SRK's pain at that time was so insensitive....I will never do that to my best friend....like never ever....well you have your own perception and I have my own.....nothing you will say will redeem Kajol's behaviour in that one month in my eyes and I know vice versa is also true...so lets agree to disagree.

BI, she is irredeemable in my eyes also. Just reasoning is different.

My child's happiness will always be > my friend's suffering. And as a parent, I would put celebrating the child front and center.

DDLJ, birthday wish... these just involved her and SRK, and she still refused to show support.

Anyway, she's always been like this. Just more people saw her true colors in that one month.

Friendship, or any relationship really, is between two people. They define the terms, conditions, and parameters of friendship. What may be a dealbreaker to some people may be exactly what others want. What appears to be public aloofness can be unlimited 3 am phone calls.

This is not to defend Kajol or anyone. Just a reminder that just because you believe a particular action is unacceptable does not mean everyone will see it the same way. Also, friendship, like love, can often be blind. So its always a tread carefully moment when you want to convince one friend that another friend is toxic or bad.

True. But a break in pattern in the public lives of PR-driven actors will be open to interpretation. It wasnt simply a lack of support. She publicly dissociated herself from SRK at a painful time.

There are more chances of your boyfriend / husband turning into your ex than your friends turning into your ex-friends unless your boyfriend/ husband was also your friend.

In simple words- Friends can stay for life. Your boyfriend/husband may not stay for life.. Came to this conclusion after looking at all the "n" number of inevitable breakups/divorces around me!

^^ On similar note- My ex turned into ex but my friends have not turned into ex-friends! That's tell you something!
