also not to be mean -- but I think viaan might be making a terrible joke because who on earth requests for 1 crore loan from company?! one of my cousin sisters is in HR and she was telling me about this employee who was injured in accident. he is still recovering in hospital and it has been 3 months. on humanitarian grounds, the company gave 10 lakhs and is still paying him salary. above and beyond, the family has to take care.

Then Katha goes to insurance people if she dies then money can be given to her son

Then she will meet Aarav in the hospital and talk to him

then she will have conversation with her best friend and then she will suggest Viaan may help her

So it will be tomorrow....

Have binged this show in the last few days & I feel it has shown enough promise to keep me entertained for a few months at least hehe.

A lot of things are off target though, which I’m sure must have been discussed. What bugs me most is the mathematics involved 😆

— in one of the initial episodes, katha’s friend told her that 40 lakhs have been credited to her account.

— she sold her ring for 6 lakh (her dialogue “mere paas abhi negotiation ka waqt nahi hai” was quite lame though 😕)

— she said that people on her phone book have given around 3 lakhs

— she had started a fundraiser as well. 40k got raised in a few hours (since katha & aarav probably watched a cartoon movie in between lol). Safe to assume that in 2 days, at least 4-5 lakhs must have been raised.

All this makes the required loan amount less than 1 crore already. Why is she asking for 1 cr + then? CVs tried to show her exhausting all her options aur phir unn options ke baare mein bhool gaye 😆

The whole bone marrow transplant surgery cost is 1 crore 48 lacs 77 thousand

Katha has 48 lacs ..but due to preadmission of Aarav..

She is asking 1 crore 2 lacs 77 thousand

so I finally finished yesterday's episode. was really struck by viaan's public apology in office when he gave her the promotion. he was willing to say that while his personal policy is not to go back to those who break his trust, business is separate and that his philosophy does not sit well for the company. that takes a lot of guts as well as humility on one's part -- to accept that you have a flaw and someone else may be right. so it will be interesting to see why he makes this offer of one night stand when he doesn't seem like the type....

in some level, I wish the drama would make it clear that this is obviously some sort of high-risk very experimental surgery that involves robotics and the foreign doctor expertise. that would explain the high cost. otherwise, common viewers are going to be thinking that cancer treatment is so high that it will be out of reach for 90% of people or that cancer is not treated by our local doctors.
