The problem with religious leaders and far-right is that their extreme urge of controlling others and feeling superior over others when they can declare someone non-religious, atheist, haraam etc. This is such a mind boggling era we live in now.

The same can be said about extreme left though i.e. radical feminism, absolute sexual and gender fluidity to the point where people are being jailed for mis-gendering others. I feel distant and sometimes appalled by these groups harboring very polarising views.

I thought Pathan/Pashtun were an ethnic group, not a religious one. While most modern-day Pathans are mostly Muslims, it wasn't always so. And a small rare number do still follow old Iranian Gods like Ahura Mazda.

Actually, the activist woman has a valuable point: The bashing of Pathan and the Besharam song distracts from more important issues.

That was done with Suchant's death, with Aryan's arrest, with the nepotism/drugs debates...
