They constantly whitewashed Kuhu and her ness😕 and tanked the whole show in yrhpk; they are still continuing similarly in WTHA i guess, am not sure if there are other writers as well there.

I Find it interesting bec of the kids , independent sai giving nightmares to pakhi ..they turned the show around with pakhi at the same place where sai was , before the leap. Who wouldn't wanna watch pakhi getting slammed left right center by virat, sometimes sai , sometimes she herself 😆 ghum was toxic bec of the ml+ bhabhi angle but at the same time it has its audience bec there is always someone who speaks her mind and puts everyone in place.. sai's confrontation with chavannis , pakhi and virat always got trps . Sai was always the usp of ghum. I was never Interested in the chemistry or sairat ..

Also, the fans on Twitter insta or IF count for less than 1% of the actual trp audience .

I believe once the audience connects to the characters, if the show works for the first 200-300 epis , audience can watch anything about them.. toxicity or positivity .

Same isn't true for pandya store..it actually thrives on toxicity alone and the comedy scenes , which r a product of characters always doing something stupid and crass. Itna stupidity hai ke hasi aati hai.

Hey I think it's not toxicity but the variety which sells, gone are the days when ppl would follow the storyline diligently. Make today's plot interesting and get me to watch tomorrow, it's the latest funda for TRP. TV viewership has become progressive viewing meaning tomorrow is built upon today. It has to be remembered YRKKH has been running for several years, people obviously would look for exit points for when the serial plot is not interesting. I have left the serial when duggu was small in gen 1, seen a few episodes of gen3 got tired of the rinse and repeat ghisi pitee old wine in new bottle narrative now. I think the Abhira track till Mandir confession was superb,the plot went downhill thereafter. The steamy Abhira, cringy Abhira, puppy love Abhira were all a big phusss. Emotional Abhira with suppressed emotions manifesting from the bottom of their heart pre Mandir track was good, nobody wants Rona dhona for superficial reasons like tumne Kisi se aisa kaise sakte ho and all.

Not toxicity ..conflicts , arguments and fights. Case in point big boss , anupama , ghum, pandya.

For the first time on itv there are dils who take a stand against their husband or in laws or both .

But ghum is crap and cringe story

Having followed Ghum since its start (but stopped watching mid way) I can say that Sai and (initial) Virat are any day more well written and well fleshed out characters than Abhi Akshu. Even the (initial) fam dynamics is better to watch. Here even the family feel seems forced and fake.

I too watched all those shows launched during Covid whether it was Tamrinda or Ghum..True, Sai and Virat for the first year had a better arc. Paki's jealousy, Sai's Jhansi ki Rani avtaar was build slowly and steadily. I still connect with Sai,sometimes Ashwini.

Watching the kids track. Even the supporting actors irrespective of dialogues are a treat to watch. Their emotions are so apt.

Gul personally invested her talent during the first six months when Imlie started. She directed few episodes too, you can know the difference.

Here everyone's talent is wasted.

Your predictions about trps settling between 1.9 to 2.2 is indeed true.
