If what he had with pakhi was just an attraction then how could he still remember what she wore years back.

We remember such things about our loved ones not flings. I won't say he loves pakhi. He isn't capable of loving anyone.

But today's scene proved he always had some fetish for her beauty and that is the reason he unconsciously/ consciously ties her to him. Because he loves a beautiful woman attention on him.

Hope they make him realise what he had for Sai was attachment & habit which he couldn't ever get over not love. His true love was always Pakhi since they've diverged from KD anyway
