Account Deletion / Deactivation

The Global Moderators are Jayshree and shruti and Moderator. They do not open PMs. If you ask for help from humans, you're likely to be ignored. However, if you pretend to be dangerous, you may be able to trick the insentient India Forums system into deleting your account.

Leenaaa had this suggestion: "If you do not complete your authenticator app configuration, you may lose access to your account."

So, go to the top-right menu and click the Settings red button. Click the tab for Two-factor authentication. I've never tried what you do next, so I can't promise that it works ... but if you enter an email address or phone number or whatever, real or fake, and the system sends you a message to confirm your account, and you never respond, India Forums might deactivate your account.

If there's any chance that you might come back, you can click the Account Hibernation tab instead, and deactivate your account temporarily.

If you want to delete everything you've ever posted/commented in every topic/article, you may have to do it yourself.
