that is the point, that the general standards were higher

even those who were considered glamorous, "western" in those days like zeenat, parveen and later kimi katkar were better actors then their equivalents today

same goes for those who do bubbly, flower pot roles, dancers, great performers all their equivalents then were mostly higher in standard with much lesser support from tech, make up, make overs and what not

BINGO!!!

and even though i do not rate zeenat very high as a performer but however she was still fantastic in films like SSS, HKHR and Don to name a few.

so comparing zeenat with someone like katrina is a SIN imo
