Like the creatives have bashed few of us on insta/twitter, via messages and rude remarks that logic mat dhundho

Seriously 😒 😳 it is so bakvas, it's like a catch22 the ppl watch such stuff and make it part of their traditions/customs and then it's shown on tv to validate the same 🤦🏻🤦🏻 tv pe stupidity ki koi haad nahi hai

Some of us know this is reel and for entertainment only but not everyone is discerning as us🤦🏻

Achcha, audience logic na dhoondhe aur woh illogical, invalid stereotypes dikhate rahe? 👏.

No no. I watched to show since day 1. At that time, I've never heard of India forums until mid 2021. That was when I opened an account on here. Until early 2022, I only used this account to read what people have to say about this serial. 😁😁😁😁.

Actually mujhe pakhi ka sari pehnna itna weird nahi laga jitna ki how she got after-marriage clothes ready to go in the first place.

So i got married last year only and in Jaipur and it was kind of expected of me (by MIL) ki shaadi ke next din I will wear saree. And wahan pe bhi they don't like sleeveless, modern type blouses (i got to know all this after spending some time with my MIL. And daughter or bahu ke liye expectations alag hoti hai. My problem was not that i didn't have a saree to wear but actually had no clue on how to tie a saree 😂 and no one came to help so just wore a chunri suit (kind of traditional) but usme bhi mere MIL ko problem thi. She thought suit was too simple and wanted me to wear those long sweeping dress like suits jo bilkul party type lagte hain. And actually mere in laws only come from traditional background but father-in-law, mother-in-law are both very educated and have a professional background.

So definitely this expectation exists i think in traditional families and cities. I don't know about cultural expectations in Ahmedabad but wahan bhi i think traditional families mein yeh expected hoga. I don't think they needed to show Pakhi wearing this in Kapadia mansion because they (kapadias) are shown as more modern and progressive compared to Shahs. I'm wondering how she knew to tie a saree properly. Mujhe to actually 28 ki age tak kabhi aaya hi nahi, or meri sister ko bhi nahi 🤷‍♀️

No doubt, draping saree with perfection is not an easy task. More than draping, I find it difficult to wear for whole day or even for few hours. Though I wear it for some functions only, I start feeling suffocated and avoid going to washroom.😆 Personally I love sarees but with modern type blouses, whenever I go south side, I buy sarees.

but wearing under compulsion, even long suits ( if one is not used to them)

that in a city like Jaipur having extreme weather in summer is really tough.

Anupama apni beti ki sharee pehnaane mei help karti hai.. aisa ho sakta hai koi maa, beti ki help na kare, especially bhest Maa.. anupmaaaaaaa

But wah matlab sarees/suits, bridal trousseau with fitting blouses or aise after wedding clothes sab ready the for a quick last-minute marriage. Only in ITV can this happen 🤣. Yahan to aise bhag ke shaadi karti to innerwear bhi dukaan se khareedna padta
