I only heard about it on BB in this season only. I wondered how they make it but then I saw sumbul making them and I was shocked to see that they actually use plain sugar for stuffing. 😆

I thought celeb are health conscious par just seejng the amount of sugar she used for one chini paratha almost gave me diabetes and to make matters worse she kept flipping until it almost burnt.🤢

I hated that MCP Stan when he said ki yaha kisi bhi ladki ko khana banana nahi aata but I think he was right somewhere.

The other day gori rotiya sek rahi thi par aise flip kar rahi thi mano papad sek rahi ho.

The kind of food these people eat is worse than what I used to get in my hostel mess..no wonder they are always hungry and constantly fighting for food😆

Yes it is and it tastes just yummm...

Obviously it depends on taste preference person to person... may be you don't like sweet much so you are finding it odd...

Chini paratha is definitely a thing. And it’s also very satisfying quick sweet treat when too crave a dessert.

I don’t know how Sumbul made it, but usually the whole point of chini paratha is letting the sugar melt into the ghee and slightly caramalize. Though it may look burnt, it tastes very delicious.

Having said that, it is an indulgence though. We make it once or maybe twice a year. N end up having only half a paratha. Not more.

I have eaten sweet paratha in which while making a dough my grandma used to add a little bit of sugar instead of salt. But I don't think I can eat something that has sugar as stuffing😆
