Here endeth the first innings, and even allowing for Pakistan's bowling strength on what is clearly a helpful pitch, it's advantage England. A stunning display throughout, but most particular through the middle overs with Adil Rashid to the fore, and at the death where Sam Curran's figures of 3 for 12 in four overs will take some matching if England are to be denied now... mind you, Shaheen Shah Afridi has figures of 9 for 60 in his last 11 overs. If he gets into the powerplay, who knows...

A lot of twos and threes out there, so run hard to the boundary fielders, and be courageous. If we'd been offered 137 so we'd have been very happy."
