That happens a lot on Uttarayan festival in Gujarat. It’s called Dhaba flirting. (Dhabu means Chhat. Terrace in Gujarati.) Mast music player pe Gaana baj raha hai. Jhalak dikhlaa jaa.. jhalak dikhlaa jaa.. ek baar aaja aaja aaja aaja aa jaa.
Ek side pe nasta pada hai. Dusri side pe patang Aur dori. Dhimi dhimi thand hai Aur mast havaa beh rahi. Googles lagake pados wale terrace pe chhat pe apne crush ko dhundho. Wah.. woh bhi Kya din the.

Already shared by lot of members.

My favorites are Pardes and Swades one. Swades romance is so subtle.

I also love Ek ladki thi deewani si. Ek ladke pe woh marti thi. It sounds perfect in SRK’s voice. Very innocently romantic.

Wonder how this romantic tag pada hai is ke gale mein, because his best movies are when he wasn’t aiwee spreading his arms and mouthing silly dialogs. He didn’t do it even in DDLJ. He started becoming cringe after he started making that silly arm spreading gesture his signature.

His best romantic moments were from his pre arm spreading era like DDLJ, Raju ban gaya, kabhi ha kabhi na , Pardes etc.

He started his signature pose in DDLJ

That was done organically, nothing like how he started doing it in every movie later on.

No offense but I found it deeply unethical that he knew she was engaged and gonna be married to someone else soon yet he still sort of made out with her and was happy to know she still loved him.

I also did not like Kajol forgetting she was engaged to someone else. I mean SRK is a widower and father of a kid. But Kajol was committed to someone else no?

I find it unfair to her fiance. It is horrifying to think your fiancee could be making out with someone else weeks before wedding. I know love and emotions are complicated and matters of heart know no ethics but it seemed kind of off to me.

I can see the chemistry there and SRK and Kajol acted amazing but the whole background of characters just puts me off. I also hate it how he ignored Anjali earlier but suddenly found her attractive when she dressed in saree or grew hair long.

I agree to Kajol’s part, but was Rahul aware that she was engaged ? I cannot remember. 😳 I think I need to watch again for 6858372688 times now. 🤣

Rahul’s character was of a loser indeed. But I’d anyday pick a loser shallow Rahul stuck with his useless mantra over today’s abba-jabba-jabba male lead characters like let’s say the one from Ae Dil. 😆 That type of loserface was relatable back in 90s guess I am still stuck in there.

I also wanted to post the Mohabbatein Scene where he first time informs the kids that the woman he loves is no more, and once the kids leave, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breathe and feels Megha. ❤️

Spreading his arms in romantic scenes "in every movie later on"? Hardly...why this exaggeration?

I think there is no movie (baring ChakDe, DZ and some negative-hero-ones) where there isn't at least one romantic scene. Sometimes, I felt that the whole movie was about the importance of romance in love (or at least the importance, women give to romance in love). Even in CE, JHMS and Zero where the characters SRK enacts are rather self-centered in the beginning, there are romantic scenes (especially in JHMS).

In RNBDJ the introvert Suri becomes an extrovert Raj just to show Taani that love still exists...how romantic is THAT?!

In JHMS, a disillusioned and commitment-fearing Harry represses his growing love for Sejal in order to not emotionally pressurising her.

In Zero, Bauua is ready to die on the mission to Mars out of love for the woman he had hurt before.

If I remember right, spreading arms wasn't the romantic thing in these movies (neither was it in JTHJ or Fan or Ra.One or Raees or...).

I agree. Arjun is easily one of the most attractive male characters ever.

I only disliked his line when he asked Ganga to adjust with affairs, smoking, philandering Rajiv does. That was regressive.

Otherwise Arjun is a dream come true and any woman would give her right arm to be with a man like Arjun who is good with kids, elders and treats woman with so much respect, gentleness, empathy.

I found it nice how it is Ganga who ran to him and hugged him. He did not even put his hand on her head when she was lying with her head down in train after that molestation attempt even though he wanted to comfort her. That reluctance and respect for her personal space and dignity makes him so magnetic unlike desperate, lusty heroes salivating to pounce at woman or looking at her or wanting chances to touch her.

The Na na na song in Raju Ban Gaya gentleman is easily one of the most sensuous songs ever.

SRK ensured it never looked vulgar. He keeps his lips and hands controlled. Any other actor would have looked like he would devour the heroine.

I would say Dil see is my absolute fav and Manisha looked soo pretty too, this movie was less cheesy and more realistic except the ending 😭

I also like him in Swades which was very subtle and effortless. I like him in DDLJ too he was just too damn cute 😳
