The house and KE belong to Anuj Kapadia, Pakhi is Anupamaa’s daughter and Anuj’s step daughter. That Extra Adhik is ghar jamai as he is dependent on his wife’s mother and step father’s charity. Pakhi is in her mother’s house that too temporarily, she is in no way bahu of KE. She will always be Mrs. Mehta if Adhik does not kick her to the curb once he realizes Pakhi is not the trump card to Kapadia wealth that he was thinking her to be. If Barkha accepts her as her bahu even then she will still be Mehta.
