Where have all the writers gone?

We’ve all been complaining about the poor quality writing in this show & pretty much the same complaints in any forum you check.

What i dont get is how come, in such a vast country like India, with such a huge talent pool of singers, actors, creatives of all kinds the ITV industry cannot find decent writers?
the TRP system is not fit for purpose but something is wrong with the quality of writing, possibly stemming from the approach to handling the story & writers

trp is the culprit and I don’t know why people watch such illogical, low IQ type content.

Creative writers are never given a chance and liberty we have seen it in most of the Sony’s shows the latest example is our very own show.

It is the viewers who watch garbage and nonsense shows hence the trp increases,almost all the high trp shows are cringing 😑😑

If Sony has to bring the different content then why not they give only a fixed number of episodes just like Pakistani shows,atleast people will watch a good quality of content and writers would also write brilliantly as it is for 50 or 100 episodes every thing can be done before even the show is launched.

Phle to Sony ye natak bnd krde bilkul b ki wo content oriented shows hi laaate h ...jbki in reality they copy SP, Zee, color and fail terribly.

No wonder why Sony is lagging behind since 5-7 years when it is in the business since ages and other newly launched channels are doing better than this.

They all were really good ..it had no saas bahu ki khit pit ...

The most thing tht matters is PH of a show ...cos PH brand denotes what sort of content they produce up for viewrs ..

In that sense Balaji telefilms totally fails up in matter of content ..😑😑😑

BT ko sirf ideas aatey hain execution nhi 😭😭

I too loved the shows we have had in Sony over the past few years, they may been short running but mostly had modernity, charm & some sweetness

we hardly bothered with other ITV channels at our place but since Sony tried to get BT to try & compete with star, zee etc its gone downhill. Its not like they got better TRP even with the rubbish masal

i suspect the homes with trp meters just put on star ir zee & leave it on. And these folk dont bother to even look at Sony

i read Sony is tying up with Zee? That might destroy whats left or who knows.

Star/ utsav is showing KSBKBT again & no brickbats please but its actually quite decently written in parts. Same ingredients as they try to serve up (bad sis in laws, Plotting female villains etc) but the writing, mixing & presentation is better. The side characters are not just furniture they also have stories & lives of their own.

Todays writers do not gave the time, space or ability to make use of their really talented actors & beautiful sets, clclothing & camera work.

its like you had decent cooks passing on their commercial recipes to some random folk off the street, the ingredients are fine but the results are indigestible

BT has basically good actors ..good set but alas has no good writers or script to offer the audience ..

Thus their catering of content over Tv is no different ..they are specially just copy paste up the plot and storyline to each other with new faces ..Just it!!! 🙄🙄🙄

For BT content on tv is :

New year ..

New show..

New actors ..

New style statement..

New name ..

New buzz..

New paparazzi..

And old plot!!!
