I am Hindu. Both my parents are Shiv devotees. My brothers are neutral
When it comes me to well I am completely faithful to Krishna. I am his admirer, lover, and devotee
I have grown up on his stories and can personally relate to him the most
Krishna bhajan has the most soothing effect on me just like my mom s voice. When I am angry and anxious that is what I do. Listen to his bhajans.
There is a Krishna idol in my room. I even fast on Janmasthami. That s probably it. My relationship with my religion
Life does not get tougher or overwhelming.
It's a part of the TEST we are here for.
Sometimes the EXAM is mild, sometimes it's harder than before to test our faith.
We are not here to live a perfect life, but to give a test and to succeed in it for the eternal life hereafter. That's why we are here for on this planet earth.
One cannot dscode these things with a shallow understanding of our limited minds and sheer logic.
For that one needs to explore that other dimension which is one's soul/spirit.

Same here. I'm not religious but I do believe in God. In between for few yrs I lost touch with the God I mean had not remembered God even once in those few yrs... but last year in the month of May our whole family including me got hospitalised for a month cuz of deadly Delta virus. That was the most horrible phase of my existence when my Mom's spo2 levels went below 88..My only hope left was God as her condition got deteriorated to the point that I feared the worst will happen but by God's grace my mom has been recovering. Now first thing I do after opening my eyes in the morning is looking at God and pray for Mom's recovery of health. If not for God's help may be we have not been alive.
I may not worship God by doing Poojas or chanting mantras but I believe in looking at the God and praying from my heart.. I feel my prayers have been reaching God.
I went off bit in my rambling a long essay oh thanks to God😆
Being Hindu literally means Hindutva.
If you object or hate the word "Hindutva" you are misguided by the left media.
If you are really concerned you can put it this way that you do not identify with people who are politicizing Hindutva.. but at the end of the day all Hindus are Hindutva. 🙏

Let’s keep this thread kosher
What part of my post was not kosher?
should have said it to the person who started it😉
"I am a Hindu...
...not the Hindutva wala Hindu.....but the real Hindu.....because my Lord Ram won't tolerate his name being used to cheer the rapists....or do violence in his name.."
You see, if we start, some folks will start jumping.

Exactly. It's like a soothing balm on my burning soul. I have anxiety issues. Nothing calms me down like chanting Krishna. Krishna does
Below are some of my favorite bhajans-
