Also helps that they really have interesting lives, so they tell you a lot of insightful stuff in the bargain too, which you can use in your own lives in a different context 👍🏼

I am much more confident and independent now than before..I am someone who likes the responsibilities that follow...occasional hick ups are part and parcel of every relationship though..hard times are eased if you have supporting partner!

Main GEN z se nahi hoon, maine aaj tak ek bhi reel nahi dali..the checklist you have listed are funny😆I have not done this kind of photoshoot either..naam padke hi mein thak gayi..Haash Bhagavan

Ha ha. I didn’t think you generalized. Don’t worry.

I always say arranged hai ya love, marriage is a gamble. Ishq hai toh risk hai. 🤷‍♀️

And you are right. Occasional hiccups are part n parcel. I never thought too much about marriage. Although I was never the person who liked living alone. not my cuppa tea. I like having companion.
BF tha, aschha banda hai toh shadi kar li. Mummy papa ko bhi aschha laga, to unhone haa kar di. We like kids. Sometimes it’s too much raising them on our own but most of the times, the joy is irreplaceable.

Gen z to ek alag hi species hai. 😆 Inpe research hona chahiye. 🤣

Only one reason to get married - you get to see the person you want to be with for the rest of your life at their worst. Marriage is the ultimate license to be a pig 🐖 and be accepted for it.

Farting with no shame: ✅
Burping relentlessly: ✅

Wake up to bad breath breathing on you: ✅

No need to spray de-odorizor after pooping: ✅

Proudly ask for a plunger: ✅

Long hairs (women), short hairs (men) everywhere: ✅

Can be a bit more relaxed with hygiene and appearance: ✅

These are treasures of humanity. 7 wonders of the world ke paredh (? Beyond)

I may be in a minority here, but I really love being married 😆

Well, it’s not the tag of “marriage” per se, but the person I have married. My husband and I are best friends, who share the same place, but still give each other that comfortable space to chill by ourselves.

We got together when we were in our early twenties. Skipped a lot of the skittish dating routine, and told each other from the get go that we very much want to be in each other’s lives.

Over the years, we grew up sharing and building our dreams, making mistakes and learning how to fix them. We played no games (except the really fun ones 🤭) and maintained a kind of sacred space in our relationship, where we would be honest with the other about our desires and feelings. We laughed, we cried and we held each other through all the ups and downs of life.

The reason we got married was practical and funny - we didn’t want to pay the whole rent for two places in Mumbai, had experienced toxic flatmates and were tired of being looked at suspiciously by landlords.

Our wedding day, on the other hand, was full of love, bursting with beautiful emotions, and the certainty of finding family and everlasting friendship in each other ❤️

Years later, we both quit our corporate jobs, started our own ventures and moved to Goa. Our relationship is the wind beneath our wings. It gives us strength to choose our own path, when the world keeps urging us to take the well beaten one. It makes us unafraid to explore ourselves as individuals, because we have each other.

Why should you get married? I would say don’t get married at all…till you find a love so pure and free that it makes you grow into your best and most fearless self.

Ahh well in that case, you have to be independent and hold your ground.

Are you guys Abhi and Niyu? Kidding. The whole quitting job and starting business reminded me of them.

Lovely story nonetheless. I don’t mind being married either and quite the similar story. Steady in relationship for last 17-18 years. Guy’s my best friend. This dating shating wasn’t much popular when I was in college. 70% of the time it’s serious. Commitment is for life was quite the norm. May be I am an old school. Ahh well. 😆
