I think the only acceptable reason to get married is to get your boyfriend a green card to spite your dad who was trying to deport the boyfriend because he is the illegitimate son of your dad's best friend

Generally, people get married as they need companionship in life. Our siblings and cousins also live busy lives abroad, so we can’t depend on them for companionship.

Yet I rem if I do something wrong, I can blame it on someone, so maybe that's why.

My question : Imagine the alternative world where there is no marriage institution. How it would be?

Or How it would be if there are no rules/regulations in marriage institution?

I think more and more people would like to marry if there are no obligations and rules in marriage.

Who made all these rules where girl need to live in inlaws house (in most part of india), couple sharing a same room.

Too suffocating to have a person all the time in your room. 😳

Imagine a marriage where there is no obligation for a couple to live in the same house if they don't want, meet only whenever they want.Then I feel suffocation won't be there😳

Also aunties, friends, relatives in the society should let single people live peacefully without asking w*f questions like why don't you marry😳 or thinking it is something weird to not want to get married

I think many people get married to not feel out casted from the society. Many people want to have children for the same reason😳
