There are lots of verdicts between hit and Flop. If it did above 100 crore then hit. If that dosent happen, it can get semi-hit, above average, average or below-average tag. It can get any of these tags as the movie has not crashed and will jump this weekend again.

The original VV was made at a budget of 10-11 crore. If these guys made this film in a similar budget, or at least kept it within 50 crore (that's still five times the original budget), they may have at least avoided losses. With a budget of 175 crores , it never had a real chance, especially with people having already watched the Tamil version with subtitles or the Hindi dubbed version. The time of remakes is gone.

why does BW spend so much money?it's like that families which once had wealth but now can do with some economizing but won't coz they have to preserve their status😂
