Also did you see the progression in Basit’s character from “I don’t like gehre rang aur gehre rishte” and telling Ayesha that “this is not your job” whenever she tried to do anything for him to now longing for her and trying to find excuses to keep her engaged with him ☺️

I knowwwwwwww!!! I would have written a very long, very gushy sort of post on these two episodes had I not been super busy this weekend! 😆 I want to take apart so many scenes, there are so many details, so many glances, gestures, so much to be read between the lines in there.

You can expect a post on the episodes sometime on Monday perhaps. 🤪

Can we please talk about Soha?

I hate the fact that she has made a comeback. I mean we were envisaging her coming back once Ayet were settled into their lives but she’s made an entry when Ayesha is at her weakest. Also Soha represents everything that Ayesha perceives is missing in her to make her more likeable for Basit (not true but these are Ayesha’s insecurities).

Also it didn’t look like Soha was entering the house with the right intentions. Why did Ayesha have to say that she’s nobody to Basit, she could’ve simply called herself his wife. When Soha called herself Basit’s friend, my first reaction was “really?! That’s stretching it far.”

I’m anxious about this angle to the story. Basit himself doesn’t seem clear in what he wants. What role do you think Soha can play now?
