Mimi went and told him about Ak's sacrifice but he rejected that. He is using his hands day and night..it is so weird to not see his inner monologues of acknowledgement.
It is my POV..I can't connect with him as before because no matter he did not like her sacrifice way but the truth cannot be changed. He got his new birth as Dr. TAG and he is proudly announcing that to the investigating committee but no remorse or realization.
I agree to a certain extent that even if we don't understand the choices a loved one makes we atleast are sympathetic to their pain.
He should not have outright rejected her sacrifice, it isn't easy for a spouse to watch their other half suffer every single day of their life. To mock her love without going in detail as to what exactly happened was real low.
What she did may be stupid in his eyes but it wasn't a cakewalk, maybe subconsciously he thinks that Akshu primarily left because of Kairav; he's unable to move on from that video is what I feel.
They are messing with his character. For a man who cannot do with pretentions if he's so unsure about this divorce the OG Abhi wouldn't have waited for Akshu to stop the proceedings. He would have himself spelt it out clearly. Also, another inconsistency is him harping on and on that Kairav killed his sister without a single proof valid in a court of law. He gathered no proof in year that could have proved their case. He gathered media and created chaos...when the truth finally comes out (if it ever does coz I don't trust the makers) he owes a Public apology and more than that he's gonna look like a complete fool in front of the media for the theatrics he did without valid proof.
