The Tamil film Beast did fair business on day two in Tamil Nadu asit collected aroudn 16-17 crore nett to take its two day total to around 43 crore nett. There is a 40% drop on the second day but still the numbers are pretty good. The issue is it wont be going anywhere in the long run like most of these big Tamil films recently.

Beast opened much lower.

My bad. Brahmastra is 78 cr approx for 2 days according to sacnilk, PS 1 is approx 72 cr. I don’t know which one is higher overseas.

I guess for most films we will only know the correct *adjusted* figures when they are no longer playing in the theatres.

No worries. I was actually making the point that it is pretty impressive that it's the fourth biggest weekend this year 😆

Sacnilk is useful to get trends. But they don't really have any reliable data. BOI is more reliable.

Worldwide it opened bigger than Brahmastra. No? Not sure of the figures after that. Ii t’s amazing how not many in this thread are interested in BO numbers, let alone gloating about them That’s one glaring regional difference right there.

I have no clue about Box office numbers to be honest . I only gloss over what neutral members post. These figures I quoted were all over Reddit and YT so I knew.

I mean this year has been terrible . Most big films starring Akshay , Aamir have crashed. With or without it though, this is still a very impressive feat considering Tamil isn’t a big industry like Telugu or Hindi.

WW Day 1 is higher. Weekend would mostly come under. Though might pull through.

Stans of south stars do the absolute most when it comes to box office figures. So I don't know what regional differences these are. 😆

Exactly this. It's astonishing that they forced Aish to dim her light so her insecure husband can shine, but they don't realize that once Amitabh dies, no one is going to give a rat's ass for the Bachchan clan because Abhishek is about as relevant as a rock. When that happens it's only Aish who would hold up their status, but they do everything in their power to undermine her. They're shortsighted and foolish. Abhishek could only benefit from his wife rising up. He is a nobody without his father and a nobody still without his wife.

I wish Aish could find the strength to walk away. But her daughter remains to be her highest priority and Aish might not want her to have a broken home.

I am happy for Mani, Vikram and Aishwarya. Of course for the whole team but this one needed to work for these three the most. I especially have a very soft corner for Ash and Vikram.
