I agree, we have seen better from her, she looked beautiful but age seems to be catching up.

Also I legit thought that she would eat up Trisha but that did not happen.

saw the film. ok film. climax was let down as it ended abruptly. vikram has less screen space. other two heroes were good. aishwarya rai was too old for the part and looked terrible with that weird , over the top makeup. her performance was also mediocre

ponniyin selvan is in 20s in the book. jayam ravi is passable as a guy in late twenties. thats not the case with aishwarya rai. she looks old and terrible.

Just finished watching PS1, absolutely loved it. I had a very basic background of this movie , like there will be two prince and their sister. And there is an effort to dethrone their dad and how the respective children plot and fight against all conspiracies.

With that in mind, the movie didn’t seem very difficult to follow. It was super interesting and Keeps you at the edge.. The womenfolks were very well characterised. And every scene specially the fight ones by PS was very well done. As a Bollywood viewer, just missed a beautiful song as the movie was so colourful with beautiful costumes and jewellery. A song with some of leads was something I missed as viewer.

I would rate it as 4/5. Enjoy this in theatres please.

I like movies that are brain teasers..does this movie keep you on the edge of the seat? I don’t mind a movie playing out like a jigsaw puzzle..everything coming in together at the end…

SLB did a big mistake casting Deepika as Padmavati. Aishwarya was the only option for any sensible person with a brain.

SLB lost it. Mastani was forgettable but SLB ruined Padmavaat film by not casting Aishwarya.

Just my feeling. She’s refusing scripts left right and centre. Refused DP’s role in Jawaan, Tamannahs role in Rajinikanth’s next film Jailer ( this one is another huge film ). I think she only agreed for this film because it was Mani Ratnam.

Another reason why I have given up on her
