I don't think that would have made any difference. Imlie would have found some other way to blame him because Malini also wouldn't have stopped from playing her tricks to get entry back into the house by faking another accident or some other issue.

No matter what Adi did would never be enough for Imlie because she would have still kept blaming him for Malini forcing her way into their lives rather than acknowledging her own frustration over being unable to expose Malini. All she did was go around shouting like a brat rather than actually outwitting Malini. So much for school topper Imlie.....couldn't outwit even her badi Didi😆.

By the time Imlie asked Adi to send Malini away, it was obvious that Imlie herself blamed Adi for him getting raped by Malini....it was always in the back of her mind that Malini managed to spend a night with Adi and now had a baby as a result for it.....that is why she always found ways to throw that in Adi's face like it was his fault that he got raped by Malini and is still not able to see Malini's true face.

*Edit: I don't want to get into big debates about trust vis a vis Adilie now but if we want to talk about trust faltering - that went both ways. lmlie never trusted Adi either at critical junctures....she abandoned him many times at his lowest moments when he needed her trust and support. Biggest example is the way she talked crap to him after the JM incident and readily believed that he would want to be with Malini out of choice. So then to demand that only Adi didn't give her enough "trust" when she just kept screaming that Malini is trying to snatch him from her.....lol it's not as simple as that.

Also we witnessed many Bollywood, & South Indian movies which handles rape , molestation etc in a frivolous manner .

Now the movies are careful in such narratives .

We doesn’t have to go till Geet, In imlie itself we can see the hypocrisy in narration, even they twisted to some other way , the same molestation comes to female lead carefully handled and even feared to touch it .

Inside the show or outside nobody is sympathetic to a victim. Actually only GM call it as a rape, outside the show .

Even now people are like it’s fault of Adhi , and try to prove their version by some clips without analysing whole scenario.

Seeing this level of energy even after year of the ending of Adi-imilie-malini thing

The characters must have been really well-written to incite this level of discussion.

I wish I saw this back then...

But maybe I was too busy... I don't remember why.. I just did not feel to watch it back then

Not only GM we called it as **** . Imlie called it as **** . Only the CVs tried to justify it along with Malini and her fans 🤡. Marital **** is illegal in India. And a show is trying to justify it 🤢

Even in unconscious stage if Malini approached Adhi as Malini claiming she is his wife , Adhi will surely reject her then also

How pathetic she fallen .. Even after all this she doesn’t have any sense of guilt or realisation shown .

Even other shows , I have seen at some point vamps feel guilt .

I have no hope from Creatives , they have given similar treatment to Malini later also .

Season 2 also Seems like same treatment will give to didi jr.

The story of Geet is the reversal of AdiLie right. Geet Got married to Maan brother by cheating bc His brother was already married they consumated their marriage . Geet did it willingly. Got pregnant and then she met Maan. Then Maan should always had a grudge towards Geet that she had physical relationship with his brother and was successful becoming pregnant.🤣 When a woman comes out of a toxic relationship then it is progressive but if a man tries to come out of a toxic relationship then its regressive LOL Geet was a married preg woman who fell in love with Maan. Be careful what you wish for 😆. Trust me u really really really don't want to go through that trauma 🤣. We were tortured for more that 6 months only to realise that ......There's no adi imlie now. Trust me I'm not salty about adilie but I hated the fact how strategically they broke adilie episode by episode making us think they will be together, making us a fool, practically enjoying our pain ....... IT actually felt like finally i can recuperate from some kind of sickness I was going through for months when I finally accepted the fact that there is no adilie only arylie in February 😆.

So I vowed myself to never get attached to any tv serial 🤣🤣
