Absolutely. Falling out of love in a marriage is a crime especially if a man does it. If a woman does it then it is woman empowerment. Being a woman, I didn’t imagine I will say this 🤣🤣🤣. If Imlie is right her true solulmate with Aryan, then Adi is also right finding his soulmate with Imlie.

It was a panned move to make Imlie emotionally distance from Adi as Gash was leaving and Imlie needs to be paired with another new guy to me the series run for ever 🤣. This is purely a trp and business medium and there is no respect for audience’s sentiments and emotions. Makers will just do what is necessary to prolong their show.

@bold: This is a valid point😆....she was indeed quite affected by Aditya which is why she expected the most out of him and refused to forgive only him while she easily forgave every other person in this story for similar things that she blamed Adi for😆. They shared a very visceral connection in the story originally which the makers ofcourse diluted later on to prop up "prem sagar"😆.

Not sure if it's about a dark side or light side.....Imlie was basically a mutinous brat and she reserved her most brattish side for Adi only😆. With everyone else, she tried to act like a pious saint who is magnanimously forgiving their sins😆.....only Adi's "sins" were irredeemable in her eyes....lol

End of the day, she was more human during the Adilie phase....she went through phases of doubt, wondering whether what she was doing was right or wrong.....once that phase ended, they turned her into a more bossy know-it-all who also turned vindictive when it came to Adi.....only Adi and Imlie drew those extreme emotions out of each other on a visceral level rather than trying to coat everything in pretentious dialogue-baazi.

This was a critical point that many people were missing at that time as they enjoyed bashing Adi in a bloodthirsty manner non-stop😆.

The simple point that Malini had not revealed her true face in front of Adi and had not given him any reason to doubt her was missed by many people. All that was presented to him was the image of an emotionally unstable woman who kept guilt-tripping him that she is some akeli abla in life and who will be her support now that she doesn't have a husband blah blah. The makers went to extreme contrived lengths to show a rich woman like Malini with both sets of parents very much alive, acting like some besahara orphan who had nowhere in the world to go but live in Adi's house😆. All of this was happening before the JM phase only and at that time Imlie herself was first in line to do Didi jaap and loop Didi into everything😆.

Imlie only turned on Malini when Malini revealed her true motives to her on her face....only then it fully sank in for Imlie otherwise she was not willing to believe that Malini could do horrible things. That moment never came for Adi....and he had known Malini longer than Imlie had known her....still no one ever gave him that regard ki any person would rely on what is familiar to them....Malini used that familiarity to her advantage and neither Imlie nor the audience was willing to give Adi that regard of why he was finding it difficult to believe this side of Malini.

I agree with you most parts. I always felt even he couldn’t Malini’s face, he could have given little bit trust to Imlie and just to keep her in peace, he could have sent Malini to her home back. As you said befor JM night itself, Malini staying with Adi was very much contrived. After that whatever followed felt like the preparations were on Gash’s exit even from August and they don’t want things to settle between Adile and things went downhill.

I don't think that would have made any difference. Imlie would have found some other way to blame him because Malini also wouldn't have stopped from playing her tricks to get entry back into the house by faking another accident or some other issue.

No matter what Adi did would never be enough for Imlie because she would have still kept blaming him for Malini forcing her way into their lives rather than acknowledging her own frustration over being unable to expose Malini. All she did was go around shouting like a brat rather than actually outwitting Malini. So much for school topper Imlie.....couldn't outwit even her badi Didi😆.

By the time Imlie asked Adi to send Malini away, it was obvious that Imlie herself blamed Adi for him getting raped by Malini....it was always in the back of her mind that Malini managed to spend a night with Adi and now had a baby as a result for it.....that is why she always found ways to throw that in Adi's face like it was his fault that he got raped by Malini and is still not able to see Malini's true face.

*Edit: I don't want to get into big debates about trust vis a vis Adilie now but if we want to talk about trust faltering - that went both ways. lmlie never trusted Adi either at critical junctures....she abandoned him many times at his lowest moments when he needed her trust and support. Biggest example is the way she talked crap to him after the JM incident and readily believed that he would want to be with Malini out of choice. So then to demand that only Adi didn't give her enough "trust" when she just kept screaming that Malini is trying to snatch him from her.....lol it's not as simple as that.

Last condition he couldn't full fill for whatever reason but he was still hers , though she was rightfully frustrated but she left him completely... that's not any kind on love , forget true love...

Frustration is no reason to abandon someone you claim to love. If you are able to leave someone simply out of frustration, that shows then that there really wasn't much depth to your emotions to begin with. lol

I mean everyone keeps talking about how Adi was butchered in that phase and his "hum galat kab the" line is gleefully mocked by people to this day.....lol but pray tell, how was it convincing for Imlie to abandon him simply in frustration? That too when she was the only one who knew the full truth of Malini?

If makers really wanted to make this convincing, they should have butchered Adi all the way by making him fully believe Malini's version of events and throwing Imlie out of the house for supposedly trying to harm Malini....lol butcher hi karna tha toh convincingly kar dete all the way to justify why Imlie would then never look back at him.....but no, they dissolved Adilie's relationship simply over Imlie feeling FRUSTRATED with Adi😆.

ITV runs on reverse logic....lol the ML who actually tells the FL to get out, physically drags her out of the house to throw her out etc. etc. is easily forgiven by the FL.....while the guy who asked one question and never actually asked her to leave him is cancelled forever😆

This in bold.. I was angry with Adi and I could understand Imlie’s pain..but her loving someone else revealed the depth of her love for Adi and then all that Adi used to say started to make sense for me atleast like focus on me, tumhare pass mughe chod ke jaane ke 100 reason hain and all...

If I loved someone and he went through JM night, least I would do is to stay close to him, make him feel protected and loved. Least she could have done after that night was move in with Adi..
