Yes I was annoyed with Imlie’s double standards. Adi has to trust her completely without asking a single question. Imlie can ask him 1000 questions. After the JM night she didn’t give him basic trust and accused him. When asked her a single question she made a whole baashan about trust and left him. It was Adi who has to come like a puppy behind her and prove to her his innocence every time. Half of the Adile’s problem rooted from Imlie’s stubbornness as she wanted everything in her way.

LOL its clearly shown Malini challenging Imlie. Malini Drugged all Ts . Malini went to Adis room gave him drugged Juice. He drank all juice and was intoxicated. He fell unconscious on her shoulder calling Imlie. This is clearly shown. Malini wore Imlie saree to mistake the identity . So Adi was not in his sense. How can we call otherwise.

The other ironic thing was that Malini ne yeh sab BATAA ke kiya tha Imlie ko.....she literally drugged Adi right in front of Imlie's eyes, Imlie saw the kind of state that he was in after that and still her first reaction after the JM incident was to claim that he was with Malini out of choice🤔......this is the soch that the creatives put forth.....lol

Imlie only came back to "fight for justice" after she got proof with that burnt sari piece....lol uske baad she saw the actual video where Adi was literally chanting Imlie's name in that drugged state while Malini was pretending to be Imlie sitting next to him on the bed.....Imlie saw with her own eyes how Adi was violated and still she abandoned him simply cuz he got manipulated by Malini into believing that both were drugged.

Adi was never even given time to breathe or process his trauma as a rape victim....it all was instantly switched to Imlie's so called crusade for justice....lol and people rushed to judgement that Adi doesn't believe he was a rape victim so it really isn't rape. So easily that entire trauma was brushed under the carpet as if what happened to Adi was so simple.....no one even wanted to grant him any regard as a human being that for someone who doesn't even remember what happened that night - to be confronted with this image of someone he trusted as a friend for so many years would physically violate him like this this would be very hard to process....it would be so much easier to believe that it was a mistake. It is human nature to retreat into the comfort of an explanation that spares you from facing horrors. That is what happened with Adi in that whole situation but ofcourse the makers continued to convolute it with the rape pregnancy being weaponized by Malini and Adi continuing to just struggle to keep up with the crap being thrown his way while the two sisters fought some proxy battle over him.

I think it’s not fair to bring old show in discussion in different forum. It gets tough for people like me who are fan of both Maaneet and adilie.

For me as much as Geet’s marriage with Dev was invalid equally Adi and Malini’s was invalid so for me Adilie were correct partner emotionally and legally similarly Geet even giving to Dev willingly, brutally cheated had all rights and natural to fall in love with man who stood with her in her fight against society.

Please let’s keep our discussion confined to this show.😊

My problem is not with Imlie not trusting Adi. In life sometimes circumstances will make us to doubt even ourselves and our very close loved ones too. I am completely fine with that. When Imlie doubted Adi, Adi didn’t make it a big deal and understood her pain/ trauma that she has to see her husband sleeping with another woman even if it without his consent. In Imlie’s case, she always feels she should be given an unquestionable trust which is not possible.

@bold : Imlie doesn’t demand unquestionable trust from everyone. Even she gets hurt also pardon people who mu her . Eg : The jewellery scene Rupi voice out and family for a while being suspicious for imlies honesty… but when they said sorry she accepted.

Imlies major problem was Adhi believe AC & MC over her. Really sisters was doing a proxy war over Adhi , imlie proved by falling in love with Aryan . Malini proved by ready marry Aryan to get revenge from imlie .

When Malini wants to snatch happiness from imlie , on other hand imlie also believed Malini doesn’t deserve anything good .

LOL well, everyone gave Imlie regard at that time for her pain as a wife.....but did anyone give regard to Adi THEN? Or NOW? 😆

Imlie coolly escaped by giving grand monologue speeches of "Sorry, Imlie" while Adi to this day is berated by people as some all purpose example of "bigamy" and "trash character".

So that is why it becomes important to recap what exactly happened with Adi in terms of injustice and hypocrisy while people continue to only paint Imlie some eternal victim till this date while never even giving Adi human regard as a rape victim.

For me the answer is simple ..... sumbul touqeer khan...... I remember myself seeing promo and recognizing that she did a great work as MLs sis in her previous show... don't know something attracted to her in that show also and I instantly recognized her in imlies intro promo .... she is beyond words man.... complete talent.... her work speaks.... we can easily see the difference now with new gen imlie....

And to add on ....setting chemistry with 2 different heroes with so much variation in a single show.....

though not much liking towards adi I liked GMs performance and realized he is a great artist too...as someone mentioned the casting was solid though compared to mohi..
