Does anyone know who the Bairy Piya OST singer is? The singer sounds like Shreya Ghoshal, no?😲

LOL yeah she does sound a bit like Shreya but I guess koi aur new singer hai. Not Pamela Jain who sang Piya Tose and is usually the singer for many of Gul's soundtracks.

Sweet voice this singer has though so that's another plus point👍🏼

LOL waise toh mujhe yeh SHOWRUNNER term se phobia hai from the era of Harneet madam taking over as showrunner for IB just before redux🤡😆.....we all know how that worked out😆

But yeah, let's see what Gul madam does when she is herself in the seat as a showrunner.

The intro sequence for Imlie moved very fast but otherwise you could see Gul's touches in the narrative...they are trying to set up this Imlie as someone who isn't as bedhadak as her mom but at the same time firm about stepping up to accomplish things.

Waise I still don't get why she was hitching a ride in a vegetable truck to the mandir😆....but I guess Gul ka kuch AESTHETIC hoga that woh hi jaane😆. She probably did it for the scene of the boris falling on her so that she can introduce the new bg score for Imlie along with that shot of Imlie dusting herself off and getting up.....lol

I have a feeling this whole week will go in this OST playing a lot so maybe by the end of the week, we will have longer versions of the OST to hear😆

Wow I'd forgotten about O Re Balamwa and the fact that we had multiple soundtracks for Adilie😆......man how much I loved that beginning bit of music for O Re Balamwa.....the last time Gul had put effort into soundtracks somewhat😆

No matter how much I curse GK for all the horrible things she does to her own creations after a certain time, I gotta give it to her for always giving her couples their own osts. Pretty much all the bgs I’ve heard on her pairs, are really good in their own ways. This one is no exception either.

After O Jaana, many of her soundtracks were sounding similar since she used the same mandolin tune in all of them.

In Imlie, she used an old school melodious setting for the Piya Tose song which was lovely and now after a gap she has come up with something good in Imlie again. This Bairi Piya OST has the spark to grab attention from the get go.

I loved the OST❤️ and I think I'm falling in love with Megha-Karan all over again!😆
