Thanks to the writer million times to hold the characters like that. Ayesha would never tell basit about something such shameful about her family easily - on which basis she would do that?! Yeah he respected her and supported her financially but this has nothing to do with this. It's about her self respect in front of him she would never need to feel again the same feelings she experienced at the beginning and again their relationship still doesn't strong enough to encourage her to take this step.

So why did she seek fahad's help?

Because she needed man help in this unexpected behaviour from her sister. I know she was all self independant with her sisters before knowing basit but now the situation is shocking as it's related to reputation and they need urgent help to prevent the happening of any scandal.

To me ayesha is completely right as per her character amd ayet relationship till now

How did ayesha lose self respect in front of basit ? Respect is anyways earned , not through lies and deciet , not by keeping a good facade of something so imperfect. She acted foolishly . When basit will know the truth , and it's not like he will never know about Zoya, it will be the same situation what it is now. N I am sure he will not care. Ayesha assumed a lot on his behalf which was wrong .if her and her family had zero respect in his eyes to begin with why would he propose marriage to ayesha ?

Basit as a person has an eye for people..he chose ayesha of all the girls , he trusted ayesha when she told him about jawad gossiping abt them, he trusted ayesha when she asked for advance within 1 week of job, he trusted bano during presentation times , he made peace with his mom on ayeshas insistence , he opened up to her exposing his vulnerabilities , he came to their house during Zoya Aamir rishta knowing it's his responsibility towards ayeshas family ..all this while it was only basit who tried to take Steps towards building a relationship .while ayesha is still waiting for his approval to serve him breakfast coffee , take his bag , that's all she think she owes to him as a wife.

Coming to fahad , did ayesha prevent prevent scandal? They wanted to locate Zoya and make sure she is not in trouble. Zoya herself sent her shadi video when the time was right. They didn't contact the police for which they needed a man . They didn't go looking for Zoya in the middle of the night for which they needed a man...if fahad didn't locate Zoya she would have anyways come to their house as a married woman the next day.

This whole mu was written very badly to create a doubt in basits mind . All the lies which were told were avoidable. Yes Zoya did something very shameful but they also have to own it up, it's not like it will never be known to outsiders .

I actually do think this story will be quite angsty. There are of course sweet moments but the balanced presence of pain and pleasure is strong in this one.

But yeaaahhh....you hit the nail! This is a tiny thing but shows she has marked her presence in his room. The room is slowly turning into their room. I think her book will remain unread for a while as she learns from life itself how to make a marriage work.

I feel so too...I think when they do accept each other truly, it will be when they have understood each other more. The way things stand between them...Ayesha's mothering and Basit's soft overtures...it shows Basit is ready and probably wishes to take their relationship to the next level and is waiting for some kind of sign from Ayesha...which is yet to come...opinions are varied on this point, I understand

Episode was fine. Mainly dedicated to Zoya and her marriage.

Basit is doubting on ayesha and fahad. He is doubting on ayesha ok that's acceptable but he is also doubting his bff fahad that's sad. Tho it's mental state is like that.

I guess this incident may bring ayesha basit closer. And basit will come out of his past. And start trusting women.
