Oye, arent we lucky, oye😆. I think in the spirit of experimentation and improving and getting out of my latest comfort zone, I will still try a regional song. It's also only right to give those who know other languages an opportunity to showcase their talents.😳

There are two songs however that have never appealed to me and I've heard a lot of people sing them-

Moh moh ke dhage

Mehdi Hasan's ranjish hi sahi- from some other lists. I love some of his ghazals but haven't ever liked ranjish. I think it's one of those songs people are supposed to say they like. Not sure how many do.

A friend of mine sings and plays the guitar on mein tenu samjhawan. He is punjabi and imo sounds better than the original.

I caught some of the auditions last night, the guy who sang Chaudavin Ka Chand, what a voice, brilliant rendition. I don't know if you remember this guy from SRGMP from back in the day, Vineet, he was quite a popular contestant, I was surprised to see him auditioning.
