Do actresses fake being Vegetarian or turn vegetarian to stay thin?

I’ve noticed many actresses who were non veg before turned into vegetarians to stay lean and thin.

I remember Kareena turning into a vegetarian while dating Shahid & pretty much stayed vegetarian when she was at the top of her game & in her prime years. Now that she is pretty much over her BW career as a younger actor, she is eating Chicken and biryanis all of a sudden in her insta stories😆

makes me wonder is vegetarianism only adopted by certain actresses to stay thin as meat has ofcourse more calories 😆

Is being vegetarian in India conducive to thinness? My trips home consist of nothing more than eating samosa, chaat, pakora, dal makhani, rice, paratha, naan, vegetables cooked in ghee, dosa, jalebi, kulfi and other shudh vegetarian items around the clock. I come back 10-15 lbs heavier, and sadly return to my broiled chicken, fish, turkey and salad diet.

If being vegetarian meant being thin than everybody would be doing it 😆 thrs no correlation to it at all.

I don’t think Kareena is a good example tbf. Shahid is a staunch RS follower and they’re pretty strict when it comes to vegetarianism.

Vegetarianism doesn't make you thin.


It's healthier only as long as you mind the carbs and fats

Vegetarian is healthy in general

And especially Indian veg food is healthy

It's all about taste. People who eat meat, they may turn vegetarian for a short while or permanently.


I don't have any taste for meat and eggs. They also look smelly to me. But for majority of the world, it's a great taste for them. People in Cambodia eat frogs, snakes, spiders, grasshoppers etc. It's all about taste.

Only if you are eating salads , yes you will lose weight but not if you add loads of rice and wheat. Eating Grilled and boiled chicken is better than eating carbs if one wants to stay thin.
