I know Imlie also kept pushing Aditya towards Malini and in some ways she is also responsible for the mess but again at that age you cannot expect someone to be mature with respect to relationships. It was Aditya who should have cleared the matter to Malini though Imlie stopped him from doing so because he was the mature one among them.

OK so now Imlie should be excused because of her age?? Like I said in my very first message, this post is not about Aditya's role because there is no doubt that he is to blame. But that doesn't make me blind to Imlie's faults. But anyway, let's just agree to disagree.

It's amusing how easy it is to pin all responsibilities of the mess of two adults and one teenager's life only on the teenager.

Because of course, the adults were helpless and the teenager was the only powerful one between the three here.

Aditya and Malini were not doodh peeta bacchas, as the saying goes in Hindi. The biggest mistake that Imlie made was to worry about Aditya’s life and agree to marry him in PD without caring about how it would ruin her life and dreams. If she had just let him die, so many lives would have been saved and a spineless man would be hailed a hero, Malini would have found all the sympathy and Imlie could have gone on with her life as if nothing happened. But of course, Imlie was selfish, and so she married Aditya and she alone stands responsible for history.

And not to forget, in all of this, Dev Chaturvedi can go on living his spotless life.

All key characters in serial are shown to have EGO. This is to keep creating tussles and keep creating episodes.

Few characteristics of Imlie

a) She stops all from telling truth. Whether Aditya or Aryan or even Cheeni.

b) She decides to leave any house on her own free will

c) She doesn't like to be questioned. It is to such extent that viewers will believe her and not the people who question her (Aditya or Aryan)

d) If anything goes wrong.. even in serial all tell she is a kid

e) In same Serial Malini gives multiple names to Imlie (Melodramatic, keeps blabering, buffon etc)

f) She is almost a Rajnikanth (Superstar) in this serial who can do everything and anything. Even Aryan mentioned in dialog he is just a character..

Both Aditya left when they got butchered too much.

Aryan too decided to leave maybe because of same reason as how long all this wil continue

Imlie + Malini too how long they can keep fighting..

Finally all are friends in real life and have great binding.. Entire team gel well. Hence serial gets those results of good acting.

Blame the writers who could not conceive beyond...

Imlie has also gone through a lot of pain in her life, and it didn't turn her evil.

While same can't be said for Malini.

Every person copes with pain and heartbreak differently. It's the choices that matter. Some people just use them as an excuse to justify their evil like Malini.

Point a , b and c.. Hilarious and true..

She is a teenager so should leave important things for adults. Aditya didnt ask her to marry him.. teenager took that decision on her own.

Teenager has a habit to be mahaan and dictate the terms every single time.. Other fault is that they give her importance and care for her views..

She pushed Aditya towards Malini and then blamed Adi for betraying her when all mud spa episode happened.

She wanted Adi to believe her over Malini still her Malini Didi Jaap is still continuing.

It's amusing that this Cheeni is same girl , for who Imlie said to Malini, hum Amma banane wale hain

Anyone can see who weird is her obsession about Cheeni. If she wanted to protect her relation with Aryan, she could easily have given cheeni to Ts but no she has to do everything on her own. And one in love with her has to pay the price.

Dialogues about only and true love, feeling presence and all happened with Aditya as well. She told Aditya multiple times that you inspire me, you support me ( whole I love you track ), I want to be like you. So I don't know what's so special about her love for Aryan. If anything it makes her dialogues and feelings hollow.

But Imlie is not a bechari and not a victim. I do agree that Malini was made into a vamp by makers simply to gain sympathy for Imlie's character, so that everyone ignores how she ate into the Tripathi family first like a termite and now into the Rathod family.

But of course, who will notice that when Malini is made into a psycho?? Why will anyone hold Imlie responsible for her share of the blame?

you realize that when they were forcefully married off to each other, Imlie was only 17? not only does that make her a child in the eyes of the law, it makes what Aditya did with Imlie behind Malini’s back grooming. that’s the right term for what happened. so your dislike, i’m afraid, is largely misplaced. it’s like blaming Aaliyah for what R.Kelly did. you don’t wanna go there. but you know what the funniest thing is that i heard Malini say? “woh ro kyun nahi rahi hai?”. she had gotten everything she ever wanted in the world aka Aditya. but her sole concern was why Imlie wasn’t crying. i think that pretty much sums Malini’s hate for Imlie. it’s irrational, excessive, and vindictive. beyond a point, it stopped having anything to do with Aditya. she took it as her life’s mission to make a human being’s life as exceptionally miserable as possible for the reason that she was still breathing, instead of actually living her life.

Another hilarious thing is that from Meera that she herself had decided to become ( Aditya neither asked nor expected this from her when she herself declared her to be Meera) From there to a modern girl who has been wronged and wants to move ahead in life, transition was so smooth that word Meera became a joke for her.

And her favorite dialogues, Malini hmara kucho nahin kar payi hain.. omg.. dear girl Malini has been winning for so long that you should just run seeing her shadow... no but teenager's confidence level is so high that she puts everything and everyone at stake every single time in her millionth futile attempt to teach Malini a lesson.

Imlie was 18 when her first forced marriage happened.
